I recommended it to everyone on my list who likes fantasy as the novel sounds just too good to pass up!
I recommended it to one of my good friends because she and her boyfriend like the fantasy genre AND play WOW. They (along with The Big Bang Theory) are how I was familiar with some of the WOW references.
I recommended Along the Watchtower to 6 of my friends on Goodreads because they also like fantasy. A couple of them frequently make good recommendations. It's nice to be able to return the favor.
Recommended it to several of my friends who enjoy Fantasy, and some because I know they're fans of WOW. ;)
I recommended it to everyone who loves fantasy in my friends group, and everyone who likes dystopic fiction/speculative fiction as well.

Let's start off by recommending Along the Watchtower to your friends who enjoy contemporary fiction, war-time stories, World of Warcraft, and, of course, literary dystopia.
How do you do this? Here's a simple step-by-step guide.
1. Go to the GoodReads book page for Along the Watchtower: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/18...
2. At the top right, directly under the main menu bar, find the list of links that reads "Recommend it | Stats | Recent status updates."
3. Click "Recommend it."
4. A new page opens up. You can then select your friends from GoodReads, Facebook, or via email who you think will enjoy your recommendation.
5. Scroll to the bottom of the page after selecting your list of friends and enter a message. This is optional, but a lot of fun! Let your friends know why you think they'll love Along the Watchtower--give it your own personal endorsement.
6. Click the "Recommend" button at the bottom of the page. That's it! You're done!
7. Leave a comment on this thread letting us know who you recommended it to and why.
BONUS: Score an additional entry by recommending David's other book, There Comes a Prophet. Just be sure to leave a separate comment to score that extra entry. Here's a link to There Comes a Prophet on GoodReads: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15...
