((Japanese Restaurant))

Jason took off his black coat. The restaurant was dimly lit and smelled exotic. His blue shirt and yellow pants seemed to stand out. He sat down at a grill and looked at the menu. "I wish I had studied Japanese instead of Italian and Spanish."

Kendall sat down and smiled. It was the first time she was on a date. She smoothed down her red cocktail dress and smoothed the braid over her shoulder. She fingered the necklace Larry had given her. "Hmm. I wish I could just pronounce them. I'll go with California rolls to be safe." She said

"Hello." Jason smiled kindly. " I think Salmon will be good for me. I love Salmon." He said. "I'm Jason. Jason Conallay."

Kendall smiled. "I'm Kendall." She said. (I forgot her last name))

"Kendall. I find that interesting. Tell me more about yourself. I am rather... intrigued"

Kendall blushed. "Well I do a lot of modeling." She admit.

"Fashion modeling?"

"Yeah I guess you can say that." Kendall said. She picked at her napkin nervously.

"I'm defiantly not a modeling person. I more so enjoy swimming. Occasionally, I skydive. Otherwise, I'm reading, writing or spending time with friends. I transferred here from Albany, New York. It's been easy adjusting here, oddly enough."

Kendall nodded biting her lip. "Uh huh. New York is an awesome place. Can I asked why you moved?"

"My mother, mostly. She is a working woman, and couldn't handle being pampered at home. My dad's rich and loves to spoil. We moved so Mom could start getting out the house. Now my dad and I do all the house chores."

Kendall gave a small laugh. "I just try not to make a mess at my house." She said shrugging. She took a sip of her water

"Neither do I. But I'm no tree-hugger. Do you know any clubs around school?"

Kendall shrugged. "I'm not really a school person." She admit. "I know reading and math club maybe."

"Eck. I don't like math. There's really... no room creativity."

Kendall leaned closer at him. "True. Fashion has a big creativity part." She said

Kendall nodded. "Uh huh." She murmured. The food arrived. Kendall took the chopsticks and carefully lifted a sushi into her mouth.

"You can use chopsticks?"

Kendall nodded. She poured a few drops of soy sauce on it and a pinch of wasabi

Jason shivered. "Wasabi?" It burned his tongue once...

Kendall nodded. "A little. Too much makes me breath like a retarded dragon." She shrugged

"Heh. I can't even touch wasabi. It's hotter then a furnace."

Kendall laughed. "I guess I have a strong stomach." She lied.

"Mmhmm." Jason said. He stared at the decor

Kendall picked at her sushi, slowly nibbling on another one

"This is elegant, isn't it? The walls. They seem to tell a story."

Kendall looked at the walls. "Uh huh. I'm pretty sure it's just for design."

"Not just that. It is suppose to make you feel at peace.'

"Have you learned about the Japanese culture?" She asked

"A bit, yes."

"I can tell. " she smiled. She popped the last piece of sushi in her mouth. She took a small sip of her water. ((Dude if I'm keeping you from dancing just tell me.))

((Nope. I'm just hanging with my bro. Remember: I don't dance :p))

"Don't you feel... balanced here?"

Kendall bit her lip. "I certainly don't feel unbalanced." She said.

"That's good." Jason smiled. "I'm glad."

Kendall nodded. "I'm not really into spiritual kind of stuff." She admit. "I mean I meditate and I love candles and incense." She added.

"It's near impossible for me to meditate. I need to be walking in silence outside at the very least."

Kendall nodded. "Okay. I like taking walks when I'm not busy. And I don't mean down the runway." She rolled her eyes

"It'd be a real treat to see you on the runway." Jason chuckled

"Yup. Looking hot in the weirdest clothes." She laughed.

"That's what makes it so great. Turning bizarre into extravagant."
