Escort: "Welcome, to the Annual Hunger Games!" I say, smiling widely at the crowd. "Now, let me welcome our mayor!" I say brightly, as the mayor comes forth and reads his speech.
Patrick waves to his dad and mom before signing in, he was really nervous, as allways, victor's childs were an easy targer in the reaping, until now he was safe, but he got the feeling it wouldn't get long for the odds to leave him, at least his name was just four times. He stood nervously at the last line with some eighteen boys.
Derek, this year mentor, headed to teh podim after his son left to sign in, hoping he didn't get picked. Since the day Derek was born he regreted giving him life, for what? etting picked in the reaping? He took a seat next tot he major waiting for his speach, meanwile he tried to spot his son.
Cameron pulled her little sister Min's hair into a bow bun. Min was still ten and wasn't going to be reaped for two more years, for which Cameron was thankful. "Smile you look beautiful." Cameron said kissing the top of Min's head. Min hugged me and replied "You do too!" I hugged her and my parents goodbye before going to my place for the reaping. Before I got there my older brother Trace, now 20 hugged me from behind. "Love you little sis." He kissed my cheek.
"Love you too big bro. I'll see you later." I said with confidence. But with these games you never knew what could happen. I had signed up for extra tesrae so my name was in the bowl at least 9 times. Not as much as some of the kids I used to go to school with though.
Adelaide Eveniere: I walk slowly into the town square of District 5, heading towards the ropes that pen in the rest of the eighteen-year-olds. The last year I have to go through this. I take a deep breath. I don't take tesserae anymore, not since Lesia died, so my name should only be in the bowl seven times this year. I should be relatively safe, logically... But when does logic ever play out right during Reapings? I force myself to look forward at our escort, who has already begun talking.((Adelaide is wearing: http://i01.i.aliimg.com/wsphoto/v0/80... ))
Escort: The mayor finishes his speech and I smile brightly. "Wasn't that amazing? Thank you, sir!" I bubble at him. "Now it is time, to choose a male and female tribute."
Escorts: "Ladies first!" I say happily, strolling over to the ball of names, and dramatically waving my hand around it before picking out a piece of paper. "Cameron Elaine!" I announce, searching the crowd.
I blink. That's me. My heart races as I step forward. That's me. My face probably looks like I am bored but inside I am screaming.
Adelaide: Hmm... Me. Darn. That sucks. I walk up to the stage slowly, not exactly sure what I feel. I am most likely going to die, but at least all the other female children in the District are safe. One to twenty three... My odds. I was just asking logic not to fail me? Well... Logic! Fail, so I have a chance of winning!
Escort: "Now, for the boys!" I squeal, running over to the next bowl. "The male tribute with the honor of representing this district is... Patrick Roberts!"
Patrick was so distracted thinking of the first girl, whom he had talked with not a long time ago blinked and realized that the escort was calling his name, he looked around for confirmation, and yeah,m everyone was tured and looking at him. He put on a straight face and headed to the podium, he nodded at his dad when he passed by and stood next to the other girls.
Escort: "That's it! A round of applause for the District's tributes!" I squeal, before leading them to the train.

His dad looks over at him, hating himself, this is his fault, the crowd always love to see a victor's child die and it is not fair, at all. He tried to look confident for his sons sake, if he broke that would probablly make him look weaker than he is, and that's not what he needs right now. He stands up and follows the escrot and the tributes.
