Sydney FINALLY gives in to ADRIAN and then Zoey shows up. On a scale of 1 - 10, how much do you hate Zoey for showing up at the end? What do you think Zoey would have done if Sydney actually went to Mexico with Marcus?

I think this is a really good discussion point!
I don't hate Zoe, I think she's naive and it's not her fault because that's how she was brought up, but she hasn't had 3 books to get to know the gang at Palm Springs or met Rose and Dimitri.
I think that she has the potential to become an accomplice with the gang against bigger things that are coming, but only after she goes through a few thigns and realises the loyalty she feels to her sister and the alchemists.

Maybe a person of inerest or a relationship might start ot make her doubt the alchemists?

But at the end? Well I don't hate her for showing up at all, Sydney really missed her sister, so I say 1.

well, I think there could be a Niel Zoe thing going on if you know what I mean...eventually. Or maybe Marcus if Marcus liked 15 year old girls when he's like, 22 or something.

I think Zoe is def going to cause some problems for Sydney and Adrian....almost to the point where maybe she turns her into the alchemists but maybe she'll realize what she did was a mistake and then work with the group to save her? I don't know, maybe...

I think hate is kinda strong but on a scale of 1-10....I'm some where in the middle...5.....basically because I think the story will need some twists and turns...I LOVE Sydrian but would it really be a great story if Adrian just sat around and told Sydney how wonderful she is for 300 pages....

Hmmmmm, now that I think about it, maybe that wouldn't be too bad...hehe, we'll, he could sit around and tell me that all he wants!!

Yeah, and I'm thinking that there's going to be some confusion through the magic in Sydney's blood and spirit user magic and spirit craziness and Sydrian and Jeddie and Lia DeStefano and Trangeline and then we're getting the VA charries back and.... *inhales to calm down* FIERY HEART!

Also I agree that Zoe's going to have her beliefs challenged too. I wonder if there's going to be a big rage against the Alchemists by the Royal court or anything? And then which side Zoe and Jared's wing of the alchemists are going to take.

well if sydney has magic in her blood maybe zoe does aswell.

it's a possibility... I suppose and then we have to question Jared and Carly and her mum too. sorry, mom for the americans. ;)

yeah, its the only explanation I could think of since we dont really know much about Sydneys mum/mom.
It would be pretty cool if Sydney's mother comes into the fiery heart and meets Adrian. Imagine that :)

I think Zoe and Sydney can bond now over the separation of their parents, be there for each other.

I think Zoe has a lot of room for character growth. She's a lot like Sydney was in VA/the first Bloodlines book. She could end up getting on board with vampires while in Palm Springs. I think Richelle brought her in for more than just furthering Adrian and Sydney's relationship. Zoe's there for a reason, and I can't wait to find out what it is. Oh, and I love how protective Sydney is of her.

I wonder if Carly will somehow get involved? And was Carly married or just in college? Actually I think she was in college. :D

Yeah Carly's at college. But with the divorce we might get to meet her.

Me too! And Ron could hang out with Adrian. I also really want PJO to be thrown in there too. Because Annabeth is so smart and Percy is so sassy so he'd hang out with Adrian and Ron too. Oh my god I need that cross over now! :D

I didn't mind Zoe at first but now I hate her sooo much she is the bane of Sydrian. a horrible weed that has infested their beautiful garden of love and acceptance. I hope she gets enslaved by strigoi and spends the rest of her life as a feeder that is immune to the endorphin rush in fact hopefully it will have the opposite affect-she feels excruciating pain instead of pleasure - and as for their father well I hope he steps on lego gets a thousand and one paper cuts covering every inch of his evil body then drowned in lemon juice. the se can happen tp zoe too in between feeds. this process should be repeated for the rest of their miserable lives.

I like how Sydney finally agreed to become his girlfriend in secret. Although what will happen to Zoe, I heard that she starts to like Adrian. I hope Edie's and Jill's relationship goes to another level.

I agree with that, I just hope that she dies along with her father for what they did to Sydney. They are just horrible, and Keith looked terrible he acted like a robot.
