Lia then ran to the railing of he roof and looked down smiling. She then looked up holding onto the railing and turned to him smiling saying, "It's beautiful here~!" She looked beautiful and she seemed to give off a golden glow of happiness.
Lia's eyes widened when he wrapped his arms around her waist from behind. He was so...close. She didn't expect that and looked at him giving a small smile adding, "You look handsome and I'm glad your here with me."
Lia then said smiling, "Okay, but I don't mind it's you just surprised me." She then leaned her head back on his chest and looked at the scenery. She wished time could just stop of them, but it couldn't.
Lia smiled softly and whispered, "Mako I love you, but my love for you is special and you always seem to be there for me, thank you."
Lia then looked at him and said sarcastically, "What a romantic boyfriend I have." She then watched the sun set a little mad about how he reacted.
Lia then said, "Well, something sweet and nice." She then sighed, "Never mind, I don't mind." She then noticed most of this relationship was one sided. She should just give him time.
He sighed and racked his brain for something to say. "You were my first real friend." He finally said softly.
Lia then saw him sigh and messed up his hair and said, "Cheer up." She then moved out of his arm and moved to sit on the rail kicking her feet lightly over the edge looking at the scenery. She never knew how beautiful it was.
He leaned against the rail next to her. He crossed his arms at his waist and turned his head to look at her.
Lia then glanced at him and said, "You should smile once in a while because your kinda depressing." She then said, "Like this." She then smiled at him showing him an example giggling.
Lia then said, "Well, just think about right now while we are up here, okay?" She gave him a smile and kissed his forehead lightly.
Lia then glanced back at him and felt more embarrassed she then cover her face with both of her hands and said, "Please don't stair at me."
Lia then said, "It makes me feel self-conscious and embarrassed." She didn't know why it was only when he stair at her, but it was what it was and she couldn't change it
Lia moved her hands away from her face and asked with a cheeky expression, "I am really that beautiful Mako?" She could help, but love his complements.
Lia then smiled and said, "Well thank you." She wanted to kiss him, but he never kissed her unless she told him to, so she didn't want to force him to love her.
He smiled in reply but didn't say anything. He felt as though he were waiting for her to realize him to be the poison that he was and get as far away as quickly as she could.
Lia then asked shyly looking down at her hands nervously, "Mako, when you said you loved me, did you lie?" She couldn't understand why he suddenly loved her and never seemed to blush or do anything like that. She realized this had been just a lie.
"Why would I lie to you?" He asked, a little hurt that she would ask that but covered it up expertly.
Lia then said playing with her hands felling bad for asking, "Well, this relationship is very one sided and you never really act like you love me." She knew this might be hurting him if she asked, but she need to know why. She glanced at him hoping she was hurting him.
"Lia we haven't even been together for one day." Mako said. "I'm sorry I haven't declared my undying love for you." He was hurt but covered it well with sarcasm.
Lia then laughed a little and said, "Sorry, I guess I'm paranoid." She then began to get off then rail, but then found herself lose balance and began to fall towards the ground, but grabbed the rail last second with one hand she then said panicked, "Mako!" She was scared since her hand began to slip. She then yelled, "Help me~!"
He lunged and grabbed her hand. He pulled her up a little and reached for her other hand. "I can't do this one handed!" He grunted, still reaching for her other hand.
Lia then knew she had to let go of the rail, but she was scared to fall. She then looked down and then knew she had to trust him. She then let go of the rail put up grabbed his hand scared. She didn't want to fall even though she wouldn't die. She then hopped her could pull her up or she would fall now. There she was holding onto him for dear life trusting him.
Mako grunted as he heaved her up. "You are a lot heavier then you look." He panted as he pulled her up and over the railing.
Lia would have normally replied, but was to scared to even talk. She then ran into his arms hugging crying and barred her face in his chest. She was trembling still scared. She realized she needed him with her.
He hesitantly stroked her back and shushed her. Murmuring that she was alright. Which seemed strange considering even if she had fallen she still would have been fine.
Lia then calmed down after a while and said smiling pulling away, "Sorry, I'm fine. I shouldn't have made you let go of me. I wouldn't have died it would have just hurt. I shouldn't have made you pull me over, sorry." She lied maybe because she was just scared and always hid it not wanting anyone to see her freak out and cry. She then noticed that the sun was about to set and looked at that to calm down and cover her fear with lies she told herself like I'm fine and her smile.
"Why shouldn't I have pulled you back up?" Mako asked, confused. "Even if you wouldn't have died it still would have hurt. I don't want you to be hurt." He said, trying not to groan in frustration. This was definitely going to be harder than he had thought.
Lia was surprised by his answer and her face soften and realized Mako cared for her dearly. She then said, "Don't worry about it Mako." She then pecked his lips shyly not used to kissing him and whispered, "Thank you for saving me."
