Ethan walked down the street, heading towards the coffee shop where he worked, today being one of the rare days that a small grey marshmallow followed him. Noah Greyson, a boy of only one and a half, teetered along side his brother, a small gloved hand in Ethan's larger, warmer one. The little boy was dressed in a grey hat and large fluffy coat that protected him from the cool coastal winds but hindered his movements slightly, making him look like a life-sized marshmallow or a large penguin waddling down the sidewalk.
Bethany sat on a bench near the cafe, nose in a book. She looked up when she heard footsteps
and couldn't help but smile at the little marshmallow of a boy, he was so cute. When she looked up she saw another adorable boy holding his hand. Bethany waved and smiled at the two of them.
Allison walks along the sidewalk. Her desired location was the Luna Café. She really needed to find a job. She didn't want to live with her parents forever. She wanted to move out and live on her own. She was almost eighteen.
It's not like she hates her family. She just feels like an outsider when she sees them together. No one loves her except for Nonno Giovanni and Nonna Caterina. Why couldn't they be her real parents?
Well, those were her worries she hides on the inside. Outside, she tried to seem confident and nonchalant.

Ethan glanced over at the girl sitting at the bench, giving her a small reserved smile as the pair continued on their walk. But Noah saw the girl waving, causing him to stop in his tracks, to grin and wave back, a soft tenor of giggles filling the space around them. "Noah" Ethan spoke, a light accent lacing his voice as he reached out to take the boy's hand again, relishing in the boy's laughter, which of late had been seldom heard.
Allison glanced over at the girl at the bench and the cute boy with a younger one beside him. She inferred that the two boys were brothers while the girl at the bench was a stranger. She guessed the girl was checking him out. Good for her. She made the first move. Allison just kept walking. Her movements were graceful and fluid. Her arms weren't swinging at her side; there was little movement there. Her darkish blonde hair was flowing through the breeze. She looked damn hot and she knew it.
Her iPhone 5 began ringing "When I'm Gone" by Anna Kendrick. She pulled it out from her pocket. It was a text from her "friend", Angelina. Angelina wanted to invite Allison to her birthday party this week. Oh, and she wanted to ask Allison "nicely" to stay away from her boyfriend. Allison ignored the text and replaced her phone back into her pocket.
