Survivors discussion

After finding out the Beasts can't climb, or knock down trees, the campers lucky and stupid enough to sneak out of camp, made this place. They made tunnels under ground, and hollowed out the tree so the beasts couldn't get to them on the ground. It's a single file latter, so that there's enough back left to protect them against the claws of the Beasts. Inside, there are couches, and windows with awesome views, someone even got a TV to work, so you can watch movies, or play on the Wii.

Kian and Keda were surprised that no one else was in the tree house right now. "Well Keda... I guess it is just us!"

Juliet was inside reading her book. Shawn was somewhere else but she hoped he was safe.

Keda went sniffing around and barked when he saw Juliet in the corner.

Kian realized they weren't alone and went over to say hello "Hey, I'm Kian, what is your name?"

(( Is Keda male or female? And is Kian male or female?))

"Juliet." She said simply. She nervously bit her lip and looked at the ground. She knew he had her dagger in her jacket pocket and a small fun in her boot. She would be fine.

(Keda is a male dog. Kian is a boy, and he is blind so Keda is his seeing eye dog.)

"Cool, what are you doing up here?" Kian asked.

(( cool! ))

" just reading." She said smiling a bit. It was nice to have someone talk to her besides Shawn. She noticed he was blind but she didn't mention it. She pulled her life out and started fiddling with it.

Kian sat down in a chair next to Juliet and Keda laid down at his feet. He reached one hand down to pet Keda and then turned to Juliet "Oh! I love books. What are you reading?" He asked and then realized he was probably interrupting her "I mean you don't have to tell me if you just want to keep reading, I just like having someone to talk to."

Juliet nodded to herself. "Harry potter. It was my favorite series." She said turning the page.

(What is his power?)

((He has sonar like abilities, like a dolphin. Except it is a pitch that only he can hear.))

"Oh I loved those books. My brother used to read them to my sister and I would listen. My mom even got me a brail set but I never learned brail so they weren't much use." Kian explained.

Juliet smiled a small smile. She didn't say anything though. She was still getting over the fact hat she had no family now.

"My mother died right before the world ended and she was a seer so I think she knew she was going to die but she didn't tell us." Kian said running his fingers through Keda's fur. It calmed him.

Juliet nodded again. "My parents weren't special. I can mini pulsate water though." She said closing the book.

"That sounds cool! Can you show me?" Kian asked.

"Um... Oh okay.." She was a bit confused. He was blind so he couldn't exactly see it. But, she would try anyway- se needed to brush up her skills I he was going to do anything special for her and Shawn's 2 year anniversary.

She stood and thought of what to do.

Kian knew that what he would 'see' wouldn't be as amazing as the real thing but with his sonar abilities he could get the shape and motion of the water.

Juliet smiled as she thought of something. Water slowly trickled out of her fingers clear and blue. She moved the shapeless mad away from them once she had gotten as mug as he needed. She made the water turn into an identical shape of Keda. She made the watery dog roll over and wag his tail.

Kian laughed as he watched the water move and turn into his dog "That's amazing!"

Juliet smiled. "Thank you." She said she had the dog disperse into small water fireworks and disappear before the touched the ground.

"Thanks for sharing that with me." Kian said smiling.

"No problem." She said siting back down. She sat cross legged an made a small water sphere and had it float around.

Shawn walked in not seeing Kian yet. "How did I know you would be in here?" He said smiling at her, Her dirty blond hair Fallon around her shoulders.

Juliet was startled her water sphere burst and made her lap all wet. She smiled all the same though.

Kian knew the guy who had just walked in... what was his name again... Kian knew it started with and s or something. Oh! Shawn. That's right. "Hey," Kian said waving from where he was sitting.

"Hey kian!" Shawn said coolly. He sat by Juliet and put his arm aroun her. She fit so perfectly it felt like heaven. Juliet laid her head on his shoulder an breathed in his woodsy smell.

Kian thought for a second and remembered something. Shawn had mentioned a girlfriend once. It must be Juliet. Suddenly it felt like he was intruding even though it had been Shawn that had interrupted them. "Well I got to head back to camp, Ken will kill me if I miss all of training time." He said smiling awkwardly and standing up.

" bye!" They chimed at the same time. ((What now?))

((One of my other characters is on their way to the hang out along with one of Innocent's characters. They are on the path so they will get there momentarily.))

Samantha stepped inside, pulling Lizzy up. She took the book and looked around. She saw two older kids there.

Lizzy looked around too, and backed up a little when she saw the older kids.

(( how old is lizzy an Samantha?))

Juliet sighed. They just couldn't be alone.

"It's okay." Shawn reassured her.

Juliet watched the two girls come in.

" um...We can leave.." Lizzy said shyly.

Marcus pulled himself inside and saw his two sisters immediately.

Sammy turned, and saw Marcus." Marc!" She grinned.

Lizzy whirled around, just in time to see Thomas enter the Hangout.

"It's okay. You arnt bothering us." Said Shawn smiling warmly. Juliet nodded and edged slightly away.

"Sammy! Lizzy! It's great to see you guys." Marc said.

Lizzy attacked him with a hug.

Sammy gave the other two a smile, before hugging Thomas." Tommy, what are you doing here?"

Marc stumbled backwards but hugged his little sister tight so they wouldn't fall over.

Thomas ruffled Sammy's hair." Marc was gonna come tomorrow, but I got him here early." He looked up to see Juliet and Shawn.

Lizzy smiled at Marc." Did you like my drawing?"

"Sorry if we are interrupting anything." Marc said glancing at the couple in the corner, Shawn was his age so they had a lot of classes together.

The couple stood feeling like they were intruding.

Sammy fixed her hair and turned. She looked around, and remembered there was another room.

Marcus followed Sammy's ideas and saw the other room, "No, you guys stay. You were here first, we'll just step into the other room."

Shawn waved and stepped aside. He had noticed Juliet hiding behind him. He wanted her to know other people. "No no! It's cool- we can all hang out here." He said

"Ya Shawn?" Marc asked.

" yeah I'm Shawn. And this," he said pushing Juliet lightly forward." Is Juliet." Juliet blushed her shyness kicking in.

Thomas listened, feeling bad for Juliet and Shawn.

Lizzy stepped behind Marcus, her shyness appearing as well.

"It's nice to meet you Juliet, I'm Marc and this is Thomas." Marcus aids smiling.

Sammy smiled, and said," I'm Sammy and my sisters Lizzy." softly.
