⊰▒▓ Dex has light platinum blonde hair that he keeps cut just above his ears. He has never really had it much longer than this because he can't stand it if it is longer. He likes it at this length as it is not too difficult to keep in check but also has some ounce of style to it. And style is one thing that Dex really likes. He's one of those guys that won't let anyone touch his hair. It's much too short for it to get screwed up, but he just doesn't like people touch his hair. Why should they have to? ⊰▒▓ Coming from his mother's side of the family, Dex has nice gray eyes. However, though they are pretty nice eyes, Dex doesn't pay much attention to them. They're just eyes; he's not going to fawn over them or anything like that. If someone ever told him he had nice eyes though, he'd gladly take the compliment but not really find it true. ⊰▒▓ Dex stands at a height of five foot ten. It's not an incredibly tall height - pretty average really - but he doesn't have any particular feelings toward his height. Sure, it'd be nice if he was a foot or two taller, but that'll never happen. He stopped growing years ago. As with his height, Dex is an average weight. He weighs in at one hundred and thirty-two pounds; not underweight but not overweight. He is on the skinnier side of things, but that's just because of the way he looks. Really, he's not all that bad looking in terms of weight. It's just his body type: long and lean.
⊰▒▓ Dex has numerous scars that line his body. Though most of their origins are unknown even to him, he does know where some of them - the deep, painful ones - came from: his father. When he was younger, his father used to whip him as punishment for all the things he did wrong. This left scars that line his back. Dex hardly ever lets people see the scars there. He isn't ashamed of them; they just make him upset. It's a somewhat personal thing for him that he doesn't like to reveal to people. ⊰▒▓ Dex's best and most efficient weaponry comes in the form of guns. He's never been much of a knife person or one to carry around whips or anything like that. Guns are just much more efficient to him. He's a very quick shot and can beat nearly anyone in a shoot-off. When he's got a gun in hand, it is never a good idea to pester him. Though he'll only kill you if you're against him, it's been said that he'll shoot someone in the foot just to make them stop talking to him. No one should really put that past him.

Sure, he's not the nicest person at all and has a highly inflated ego, but in the end, he has a heart. When he hurts someone, he feels their pain because chances are, he's been in a similar situation. Taking someone's life will faze him and, though he doesn't like to admit it, he will screw up from time to time. ᵜ Dex has a huge hate towards quite a few things: his father and those who are disloyal to him. This hate stems from past experiences and, although it isn't a good thing, Dex holds grudges like no other. Wrong him and he'll never forget it. He does not forget and he does not forgive. This can often times cause a number of difficulties for him. When he is at a crossroads and he can either chose to save his friends or defeat his enemy, he'll take the second option in a heartbeat. Really, it's nothing personal against his friends, it's just that he has such huge baggage that he can't imagine parting with it. Taking down his enemies, Dex believes, will in the end save his friends. So really, he only has the best in mind for everyone. It's just that it doesn't always tend to be the best option. ᵜ Being a complete rebel with everything he does, Dex does not give up no matter what. Even with a gun to the head, he'll taunt the wielder, daring them to pull the trigger. He loves to press people and egg them on. With this also comes a great need to get in fights and, with the way he treats people, it's often easy for him to start one up. One small ounce of rebellion against someone and he has them hooked. And sometimes, it doesn't even require that. With all the sarcastic remarks he makes and the taunts he throws out there, it's not hard for someone to get angry with him. In many ways, Dex is a defiant, troublesome, jerk. ᵜ One of Dex's good traits is the fact that he doesn't give two cares as to whether people like him or not. You think he's a bad guy? Good for you. He thinks the same. You think he's awesome and the best person in the world? Even better. Chances are he agrees with you on this too. Dex really likes himself as a person so he doesn't care if anyone else thinks differently. Really, you could tell him to screw himself and he'd just retort with: "If I could, I would." This attitude can be taken either one of two ways: either you think he's a complete self-absorbed jerk for this or you think he's the best person on the face of the planet. ᵜ Dex is very good at being resistant. Nothing anyone can do will ever make him do something he doesn't want to. He has no one close to him so threats are empty and he really doesn't care whether you torture him or not. He figured that if you kill him, you'll never find the secrets he holds so what's the point? He's a locked safe of secrets. As well as being good at resisting emotionally and mentally, Dex is very good at resisting physically. Though he's not extremely buff or toned, he's most certainly not a weakling. He knows how to use his body type - long and lean - to his advantage. ᵜ Similar to the above, Dex is very good at hiding his emotions. He likes to make people think he has none but that's not true at all. Though you couldn't tell by looking at him or even getting to know him, Dex has quite severe depression. His past haunts him and, even if it was years ago, he can't get over the things that have happened to him. Everything sticks with him, clouding up his mind with constant thoughts of things he could have done better, lives he could've saved. It's just the way he is. Dex will never ever let anyone see this side of him though. No matter what, he'll keep up his tough guy attitude because that's what guys are supposed to do, right? They're not supposed to be weak or broken. They're supposed to be strong and that is exactly what Dex is intent on being, both inside and out.⊰ ｓｔｒｅｎｇｔｈｓ

ᵜ Dex's biggest strength comes in the form of endurance. He can withstand many mental and emotional attacks on him and is a fairly durable person overall. With quite the high pain tolerance, it's really quite hard to get him to talk. He'll never voluntarily bow down to anyone regardless of what's at stake. That isn't to say that he's completely immune to physical pain because he isn't. Dex is only a person; he can only take so much harm before his body will give out. But whether his pride will ever be broken is another story.〈ᴀɢɪʟɪᴛʏ〉
ᵜ Being tall and lean, Dex is a very agile person. He's built up his body so that he isn't consider weak per se, but he's much more of an agile person. Because of this, he's very good at avoiding people and has almost perfected the art of Parkour. He's very good at jumping over things, climbing walls, hiding out, and things of that nature. To say he's a hard one to track down and catch would be an understatement.〈ᴄᴀʀᴇʟᴇssɴᴇss〉
ᵜ Dex is a very uncaring person. He doesn't care if you hate him or like him and because of this, he doesn't have many limitations. He won't care whether his actions will cause issues for him because you can guarantee that he will really only be thinking about how the situation will benefit himself. This can be seen as a weakness but really it's a strength. Things don't faze him often.⊰ ｗｅａｋｎｅｓｓｅｓ

ᵜ One of Dex's biggest and most prominent weaknesses is his inability to let go of the past. Everything from before haunts him and controls the decisions he makes in the present. Grudges often come back to shape his future and change around the things he'd thought just a moment before. Dex also has a hard time choosing between friends and enemies. If it comes down to it, he'll chose to take down those he hates before standing up and saving the people he cares for. ᵜ Though he is mentally and emotionally strong, Dex isn't the strongest person in the world. He's tall and lithe, not exactly the burly type of person that most have come to associate his type with with. He's much more of an agility centered person with Parkour being one of his abilities.⊰ ｌｉｋｅｓ

ᵜ As one would guess, Dex loves himself some guns. Shotguns, pistols, revolvers, all sorts. You name one, he's got it and uses it frequently. He actually has a case of firearms in his room back at the Rebel Camp. His most used weapon, as stated earlier, is a plain pistol. He just loves its simple style but also likes how easily it gets the job done.〈ʙʀᴀωʟs〉
ᵜ Dex absolutely loves getting into fistfights. He's very much a fight over flight person and will never turn away when someone taunts him with one. He'll even provoke a fight when he's in the mood. Everything about brawling is just exhilarating to him: the sound, the feel, the adrenaline, all of it. It's just a very bad idea to take him on in a fight. Chances are, you won't leave without a scar or two and a bloody nose. But if you're fine with that, go for it. He'll take you on. He'll take on anyone.〈ʀᴇʙᴇʟʟɪᴏɴ〉
ᵜ Dex just loves rebellion. This comes in all forms: simple rebellions like going against someone for the heck of it, punching a superior in a face, and then to full out rebelling like with the BEEs. Just the thought of going against what someone else says fills Dex with so much adrenaline and excitement that he could almost explode from anxiousness.⊰ ｄｉｓｌｉｋｅｓ

ᵜ Ignorance is something that Dex has an incredibly strong loathing for. He cannot stand it when others act a cool in his presence. It's dumb, unneeded, and overall just annoying. Ignorance is obsolete and he'll do anything in his power to discontinue it. Want to act like an idiot? Do it when he's not around because otherwise you'll just get a good verbal lashing that you won't soon be forgetting.〈ᴅɪsʟᴏʏᴀʟᴛʏ〉
ᵜ One thing Dex will not stand for is disloyalty. He will not take this no matter who the perpetrator is. It could be his best friend and he wouldn't permit it. To Dex, disloyalty means betrayal and betrayal means you are no longer on his side. And what does it mean if you're not on his side? It means you are on the other, and if you're on that side, well, you're just as good as dead in his eyes.〈ʜɪs ғᴀᴛʜᴇʀ〉
ᵜ Dex despises his father in many ways. Because of his father's actions, Dex's life has been changed forever. He'll never be able to forgive anything that his father has done and, if Dex had it his way, he would track down his father and put him through all the pain that Dex did. Revenge would almost make up for the things Dex has had to withstand. Almost.
▓░⊱ ᴄᴏɴᴛɪɴᴜᴇᴅ ғʀᴏᴍ ᴀʙᴏᴠᴇ ⊰░▓⊰ Dexter Elias Hudson was born on December nineteenth to a family that was anything but healthy. His father, Eric, was a man of power, owning a home business that had taken off in recent years. His mother, Elizabeth, had married into the family in hopes of gaining some of this wealth. Little had she known at the time that, though Eric was a great businessman, he was anything but a loving husband. On the weekends, Eric would go out and get himself drunk, only to come home and spit angry, drunk words at his wife. Elizabeth, being the pacifist she was, never once fought back against her husband and it eventually grew into an abusive relationship. This carried on for years, not even stopping when Dexter was born. With the focus now on the child, Eric carried on in that route, harming his son with words and physical punishment when it wasn’t just. This spurred a hatred in the young Dexter and would eventually lead way to his harmful lifestyle.

Over the years, Dexter started to get used to the punishments. They were painful and emotional, but he got used to him. This doesn’t mean he didn’t rebel against them though. Whenever he could, Dexter would fight against his father, refusing to be treated in the same manner as his mother. Because of this, the beatings only grew more severe. As time passed, Dexter began to identify himself as Dex, marking the beginnings of his rebellious youth. He began to get into trouble at school, rebelling in any way that he could. Drinking also came to him as well as smoking. Dex was the definition of a screw up and he loved it.
Upon turning fifteen, Dex’s father had found himself in trouble. The business that his father owned had plummeted into financial distress, warranting the end of the prosperity the family had claimed. With hardly any money left, Dex’s father chose to take matters into his own hands. It was this that decided the rest of Dex’s life. Dex’s father, never really caring for his son, sold him into experimentations. The people he was sold to came for Dex in the middle of the night. Like the rebel he was, Dex put up a fight, not allowing himself to be taken anywhere. However, even he couldn’t resist being tranquilized.
The next year and a half of Dex’s life was pure hell. Time in the experiments went by slow and painful, taking everything out of him. By the time it was finished, he was… different. Sure, anyone would be, but he was different in another way. His mind had been changed, but his thoughts weren’t. He now could just hear everyone else’s. After the experimentations were completed, Dex was thrown back into the world with nowhere to go. There was no desire in him to head back to his father’s home; that wasn’t an option. So instead, he found a place for him to live. He knew he wouldn’t be accepted in society - who would want someone like him anywhere? - so he hid out in a simple apartment in the city. To this day, he’s never told anyone what he is or what he hears. He keeps himself a secret. However, this doesn’t mean he doesn’t have his occasional outbursts. His rebellious spirit has led to the BEEs and he has, on more than one occasion, lashed out against them. He hates their presence and is trying as hard as possible to get rid of them. He’ll stop at nothing until they are out of his city and life. ⊱
⊰ ᴇɴᴇᴍɪᴇs ⊱Dex's enemies consist of those who are have either wronged him in the past or just those that annoy him. Really, it's fairly easy for Dex to make enemies. He'd much rather make friends and can be good at that too, but making enemies comes easily to him. Some of his biggest enemies consist of his father and the BEEs that he rebels against. They're on his most hated listed for sure.
⊰ ғʀɪᴇɴᴅs ⊱As with enemies, it's not hard for Dex to make friends. People tend to gravitate to him because of his confident, in charge manner. However, it's not uncommon for people to absolutely despise him either. With Dex, it's usually a hate or love situation. Either you really like him and will worship the ground he walks on or you can't stand him and wish him dead. Though, luck is wished on those who attempt to kill him. It won't be an easy feat.
