I'm just curious to know what your favorite quote is by C.S. Lewis. Hopefully we will come across new quotes!

"The Christian does not think God will love us because we are good, but that He will make us good because He loves us."

I love this short quote from till we have faces

"Who can feel ugly, when their heart feels joy"

And also I love from abolition of man

"We make men without chest and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh t honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bid the geldings be fruitful."

These are my two favorites:

How can I choose a favorite??! I don't know!
