Diane Barnes I read this a year ago. Loved the ending! I really want to read more Monica Dickens. My favorite line from the book was in the first paragraph. "All her life she had needed the benison of occasional solitude, and she needed it now more than ever."

Camille (camillesbookishadventures) I just finished it this morning.
It was a slow read (also because someone else requested it from the library as I was reading and I had to take a break for them to have it!), but one of these books you want to read slowly to make the most of it. It was beautiful.
I loved the ending, too. I really like how Monica Dickens framed the story with the beginning and the end.
