LOVED this book! I really liked Aria and Perry's relationship, and I thought the world-building was great. It was something different. I've also read Through the Ever Night, and I thought it was just as good as the first book. :)
I love this one! Aria and Perry are one sweet couple and their world was exciting yet scary at the same time. :)
I only kind of liked this book. I found it boring and not very interesting. There's definitely better dystopia books out there.
I absolutely loved this book! And the author Veronica Rossi is very nice! I met her at an event in Walnut Creek, CA in February and her insight on the writing life was very interesting!
The book was amazing it talks about love, survival, danger, and loss, Th book was fantastic when I finished reading it I was sad I didn't have the second book.
I mean it wasn't the best dystopian book, but the deep passionate love that Aria and Perry have just makes me giddy and stuff. Did anyone else suspect something about the brother? Because that totally caught me off guard. Like legit. And the second book don't even get me started on. It's like SO intense.
Loved it. I just finished reading the second book and I loved that as well. I like the concept of the Aether and the Marked as well as the chemistry between Aria and Perry, both great characters.
Really amazing. Even if there are other dystopia book out there they are not the same and this one has a good mix of everything. The second book even brings more action and suspense into the series.
I honestly loved Rossi's idea of how the aether makes life dangerous in this book. Not to mention Perry and Aria make a great pair
I don't know why, but I just couldn't get into this book. Normally I'm done with one in a day or two, and this took me 4 days. And I'd be reading along and suddenly realize that I didn't have a clue what had happened because I was so bored that I just sort of read through it. And then with her scent and when it changed for him? Did I read that wrong? That just seemed so gross to me! I seriously hope I just misunderstood that specific passage.
It's one of the best books I've ever read, really. I can't wait to read the sequel. In a few days, there is a premiere in Poland. I'll buy it as fast as possible.
This is one of my favorite series right now! Love this book! Out of everyone I think I love Roar the best. He's a big, funny teddy bear.
I seriously loved this book. I'm pretty sure this is the best book I've read all year. It's a little confusing at times, but that doesn't take anything away from this book. The way the author described everything was beautiful and I loved the story line. I can't wait to start the second one!
I'm trying to decide whether to buy this book or not because despite it's positive reception I have a few concerns! I was a little put off by the 'worlds kept them apart... destiny brought them together' tagline, as I felt it seemed a bit cheesy. Could anyone tell me what they thought of the balancing between the love story and world creation, as I'm not really interested in a book that is entirely about some love match with the dystopic element just as a background setting. It has such a beautiful cover though, I'm tempted to buy it just on that!
I enjoyed it very much. Aria and Perry are great characters, and Veronica Rossi did an excellent job piecing the story together.
It caught my eye because the author's name is so close to Veronica Roth...and because the cover is amazing!
love this. the storyline was amazing in the first book and completely caught my attention. I couldnt read it quick enough, in the good way.
This is, by far, one of my favorite book series. The concept is fantastic, the plot builds perfectly and the characters are well developed and grow with the story. I LOVE Roar. He is such a fun, deep, and emotive character; and his presence brings Perry and Aria to life.
THis is by far one of my favorites. I loved the journey Aria and Perry had and how they have grown closer to each other. Let's nit forget Roar, who doesn't love him? ^^
I finished the trilogy in three days. I loved it. I love Aria and Perry's relationship. I loved the action. I loved that it was written from the POV of Aria and Perry. The characters were all loveable in their own way like Livy and Roar... Okay, who could hate Roar?! O_O He's like the ultimate best friend. The last book had me praying that it won't be like Allegiant... O_O
Loved this trilogy! Definitely one of my favorites.I think Google's one step away from Smarteyes!
Check out their Google Glass! http://www.google.com/glass/start/wha...
Enjoyed it so, so much. I had heard there were negotiations for a movie contract, which I hope is true. I would love to see this filmed. It certainly would lend itself to a movie.
