Here is where we can discuss The Stand by Stephen King, chapters 1-9.
DO NOT post any spoilers from further along in the book, this is just for chapters 1-9. Discussing events from these chapters is perfectly fine.

So far so good.

Brings to mind the mini series a lot, and I am glad to be reading about Stu and Nick (my favorite two characters from the mini-series). I've seen the mini series so many times that it is nice to kind of see thought processes and some of the characters expanded on.

So it's been years - decades even, since I read this book and I remember the characters so vividly. A sign of a really good book.

I am really enjoying it so far. It's been slow reading though because of a new job (and working as much as they'll allow), and school starting up for the kiddos, haha. >_< The weekend is coming though!
