Do you guys think I need to read the first two books in this series before I read this one? From the description it doesn't sound like Knight or Creed has anything to do with this one.

There is a loose connection to Knight and Creed. They do have cameos in this one but their parts aren't big enough that you couldn't read Raid as a stand alone.
No, you don't need to read the first two books. Technically you can even get away with reading Creed without reading Knight. I think the only benefit to reading Knight and then Creed is because in Creed there the character of Knight is mentioned in Creed so its nice to have a better understanding of the Knight character but its definitely not necessary.
they are worth reading in order, just cause they are great books. its best to start from the RC books as they are all loosely linked and KA writes great books.

I think cos Knight plays more of a prominent role in Creed (bk 2) that u need to read Knight first before u tackle books 2 & 3. Only cos of the plot revealed in 3, that I say this cos it links all 3 of them together. & Knight & Creed do have small cameos in book 3.So I say if ur curious about who all these guys are, read the series in order. If u are more curious about Raid & the romance in his book, then yes, u can read Raid 1st without becoming lost to what's goin on in other areas. But if u read Raid first & then want to go back to the others, I would strongly suggest u read Knight(1) then Creed(2).

Yup Knight is definitely my fave & IMO the best book out of this series. I'm really glad I read this series in order.
I liked Knight but my fave was Raid. *swoon*
I love Creed...the way KA wrote it....alternating the past and present. I just love 'young love' blossoming into something despite all that happened to them! I find it kinda cute!
Hmm, I think you guys actually made my decision harder! Lol. I was actually on the fence about buying Knight but I think I'll go ahead and give it a shot since I love KA so much. And as for Creed the plot was just kind of "ugh" sounding to me and it also had so so-so reviews. Raid was the one that appealed to me the most.Buuut I really regret when I haven't read her books in order before so I think I should just go ahead and do that. Thanks everyone :)
Honestly, I kinda skimmed through Knight. I know, I know, but it just didn't catch my attention.I skipped Creed and went straight to this book, which I did read fully! :)
The other characters have a few appearances in the book, not that much that you need to read the other two books though. So yeah, you can read this as a standalone like I kinda did!

Thanks! I keep putting off buying Knight. It just doesn't appeal to me for some reason even though I love almost all KA's other books. I just need to bit the bullet and buy it or get this one already, lol

Knight was my 1st KA read. It kinda jacked me up cos at the time, I had read nothing like it before. So Knight, even though he's much darker than many of KA's other heroes, is the one that put me on my KA reading frenzy. He broke my KA cherry & I'm still in love with him. Though I have to admit the last 4 or 5 books I've read from her recently, have been kinda hit & miss for me.
