This is where VIP professors make their lectures to all students, the Principal addresses the academy, performances are displayed and much more. Most of these are held in the mornings or after school.

alessia (classick) Elliot sat alone in one of the dark red seats, he hands folded on his lap, thinking. There was an eerie silence around him but because he was thinking, he didn't mind. Eyes on the dimly lit stage, Elliot leaned back in his seat at the front row. He hadn't found himself in much of the trouble many of the street beggars warned him about high school. They said there were ups and downs, that he would learn many things and make new friends, but he would of course find himself in trouble.

Did coming in late for his first class count as trouble? No, the professor didn't mind. The beggars had given him more information out of kindness, they mentioned things like love triangles, drama, tough competition, and events blooming from out of the blue. Elliot had been through a lot, he never thought love triangles—as if he could drop into one—or the possible drama would be any more difficult to handle than whatever he already had, like starvation, homelessness, fear and terror.

Elliot, out of his own conscience, started lifting the things set on the stage with his telekinesis. The mike stand and the mike, the little light bulbs trailing the edge...they floated inches above the stage floor and the distance got larger and larger with every passing minute.

((How interesting would it be if Harley was here? XD))

Raven escaped whatever objects she could escape, blocking them out by putting her hands over her ears. She was actually closing her eyes as she ran, wincing at the screaming in her mind only she could hear, unless there was another telepath about. In her own pain, she didn't realise that she had wandered into the auditorium, the place she hated the most because everything started to scream whatever had happened to them. The armchairs had no one to talk to and they were bored. Sincerely bored, and incredibly noisy.

All at once, all the fifty or more chairs there were started to yell at the same time, shouting out their own stories. The experience was incredibly painful, excruciatingly painful for Raven. She couldn't help but let out a slight moan of pain, shutting up afterwards if anyone else had heard her.

alessia (classick) Elliot jumped at the sudden noise. He snapped back into conscience and the mike, mike stand and lights floating in the air came clattering down to the floor. He did not know it, but that caused most of the objects in the auditorium to shut up. Elliot stood and turned to Raven's direction, he could locate her with his telepathy, reading her thoughts. He could hear other thoughts faintly, coming from outside the enclosed room, but the fact that the room was enclosed made it easier to shut them out. "Raven?" he called out, squinting at the silhouette not far from him.

When the noise ceased she sighed in relief, because now she could block out the remaining thoughts. But the objects that had dropped were now complaining with exclamations. "Ow!!" Said the mike. "How rude." Complained the mike stand. "I don feel bright anymore." Said the light dully. Raven made them shut up so the voices in her head were muffled. "I'm here. Is that you, Elliot?" Raven called out, squinting to see him. She could see his head, and she walked closer so she was now standing in the same row of chairs he was sitting on.

alessia (classick) "Yeah, Elliot," he replied, teleporting himself onto the stage. "What are you doing here out of all the places you could be?" he asked. He picked the auditorium because he knew not many of the students would come here to hang out during free period. He knew Raven was a different type of Telepath but still a Telepath all the same. Maybe Telepaths liked the auditorium. Maybe not. He bent down, squinting under the bright spotlights overhead, and picked up the mike gently. He stood and fixed it back onto the mike stand before arranging the lights back into order.

"I actually have no idea. I just wanted to escape the sounds in the school and I guess I wandered in here." Raven said after recollecting what she did before coming into the auditorium. That feels better. chuckled the objects Elliot had just put back into place. Silently, Raven blocked them by shutting them up so the noise ceased in her mind. She turned her attention to Elliot, who was standing on the stage.

alessia (classick) Elliot nodded in understanding, he'd been through countless of that. Running from the police and getting lost, finding himself in surprising places with his friends, Lia, Rex, Chase and Dakota. Elliot jumped off the stage, teleporting back to his seat in mid-air. Rex had taught him how to teleport and Chase taught him how to jump high and far. Just thinking about Rex and Chase caused Elliot to sigh.

The scenes of Rex dead, curled up on the dirty ground, pale from his illness and with Dakota crying over him. Elliot had been the one to pull Dakota away from her brother, but it was too late. Dakota died a few days later out of the same illness. Lia, Chase and Elliot were left with just memories of the cheerful Dakota and the joking Rex. A month or two later, they were caught, surrounded by police men. They ran anyway. Chase and Elliot got away but Lia was shot in the back thrice. The two didn't look back, they knew she was dead anyway. Chase and Elliot were separated weeks later, when a thundering storm came and flooded the harbor.

He was oblivious that he deep grief was causing his memories to be projected in Raven's head too. Rex's final smile before his eyes closed and never opened again, Dakota trying to laugh at Lia's joke but coughing out blood instead, Lia screaming in pain and crying in despair as the life drained out of her weak body and finally, Chase, Elliot's last friend, yelling at Elliot to climb onto a building before he was pulled under the water.

((That's so sad….))

Raven received the memories and grimaced, walking towards Elliot. "Everything happened in the past. I know how it feels." Raven said softly, placing a gentle hand on Elliot's shoulder. She ignored the saddening images, feeling depressed by them. Glancing at Elliot's face, she saw signs of sadness and sorrow, and hoped hers didn't show those emotions.

"Everything bad happens to us at one time or another." As she said this she remembered those things that had happened to her before she went to Iron Bridge Academy. Everything positively cruel had happened. Her family, killed by a squad of rebels, her only friend, a dog, ripped apart while she couldn't do anything but watch.

alessia (classick) {I know it is, but that's how I guess Elliot's life should be in the past.}

Elliot shook his head. "I know that's how fate works. But...I could have done something, anything. Rex died because he fell for that wretched merchant. He was frantic, we were hungry, we were starving, he needed to eat. But I knew there was something wrong with that merchant. I knew and I could have stopped him," Elliot gritted his teeth, clenching his fist. Lia had told him the same thing before, but it didn't change the fact that he could have saved Rex. "Yeah, but blaming yourself doesn't change the fact that Rex is dead, Elliot. Get a hang of yourself," Chase said in reply to him months ago.

Elliot let out a long breath, closing his eyes and rubbing his temples. He missed his friends so much. He missed the way Rex strutted down the cracked roads like a rich kid when there were holes in his clothes and shoes. He missed the way Dakota sung like a sweet bird on the rooftops, charming the other birds to chirp along with her like a famous orchestra singer when she was starving. He missed the way Lia pointed out everything they missed like a scientist when her body was weak. He missed the way Chase laughed at everything when the world was hard and nasty. "I just miss them a lot," Elliot said, his voice barely audible.

Raven paused, then let her hand go from Elliot's shoulder. "I know. I had to try and forget my past, if not I'd never move forward. I have those close to me, and they were killed." Raven chewed on her bottom lip nervously. "So yeah… I know what my family and my only friend would want. Orion wanted me to be happy, even though it cost him his life. Wally always pushed me towards happiness.." She cut off, memories flooding her mind now.

alessia (classick) {"Cost him his life".}

Elliot let her talk, but when she trailed off, his mind fell into hers. He could see her memories flash past his own eyes. Sure, Raven's past was different by a bit, she had a family while he didn't but all the same, Raven lost her loved ones and he lost his too. "I'm sorry," he apologized, shaking his head. It was his fault for bringing up the past. "My bad, how long have you been in this academy?" he asked, journeying into a less depressing subject.

((Sorry!!))

Raven snapped out of her memories, thinking for the answer. She found it and said, "About five years now." The changeling wondered if Elliot was a newcomer or if he had been an old student here. Raven didn't hesitate to ask, and she asked him politely. "How long have you been here?" She tilted her head, something she usually did when asking a question.

message 14: by alessia (new)

alessia (classick) "Oh, about two days," Elliot answered, shrugging. He had learnt how to go about the school and keeping out of people's way easily, years out on the streets and in confusing places taught him how to. "If you don't mind me asking, why don't you seem to be like Brooke and Max? They have tons of friends... Is it because the students here...they...hate Telepaths?" he asked, looking up at her, frowning in thought. Dakota, a fellow Telepath that adapted her powers much earlier than Elliot, told him that Telepaths wouldn't be easily accepted by others, for their powers allowed them to excess other people's secrets and thoughts, even if it was accidental.

"No, they don't hate Telepaths. They're just the top people here, because Max is rich and stuff, Brooke's got tons of friends. Ernie's a changeling, he's their friend. Harley-" Here she had to stabilise her voice. "He's their smart engineer boy. He build things." She said, swallowing just at the thought of her crush. Raven chewed nervously on her lip, remembering Elliot's emotion last time, and hoped what she said wouldn't trigger it again.
