"Okay" she said content with being alone with him for a while longer even if it's a creepy freezing house. She was a bit curious about who Joaquin is "Did you know your brother when you were little?" She asked casually. Sitting on the first couch they find, not really interested in touring the house. She wasn't scared, but kind of worried too much magic can hurt Jax, or even another curse may overlap the others! There's no going back then.

He shook his head as his hand tightened around hers, "I didn't know I even have a brother, much less a twin until June died. He was there suddenly, offering his help to take away the pain and I didn't hesitate accepting it." He whispered as he felt the house running through his mind. The house is like a person, it was designed to be vigilant and cautious. It was also curious since it couldn't figure out if it was his master. Jax felt the curses held at bay but it didn't vanished.

He looked around and only saw a mattress at the far end of the room and he turned to look at Vee, "Don't move. The house is alive with curses and magic and I don't think you would be safe if you move around." With that he let her hand go and went to the make up bed.

"Umm okay dad?" She said crossing her arms and sinking into the couch. She eyed him quietly to make sure he was okay, she felt the curses hovering around and wondered how Jax felt.
"What are you doing?" She asked as she got her phone out to check if Hunter contacted them, but nope nothing. Things must be going well then.

He smirked at her words before leaning to her until their face were only inches apart, "If I were you're father, I would be probably in prison for what my thoughts are for you." His smile widen even further as he saw her eyes darken with something akin to desire. Turning on his heel, he went to the far side of the room to investigate the mattress which was emitting dark magic. Keeling before the bed he patted the pillow and when he felt something hard below it.

He gingerly sneaked his hand below the pillow and when he felt the cold brush of something metal he took it and held it near his face.

Standing up, he went to Vee's side to show it to her. "Know this?" He asked as he waved the medallion back and forth.

Vee shook her head as she tried to summon any knowledge she have about symbolic stars or something "I don't know, some kind of decagram? Double star?" She said shrugging.
She felt the dark magic emitting from the pendant. "I think you should drop that" she said worriedly. He shouldn't get close to any kind of curses.

He nodded as he laid the medallion beside her. With the creepy house as its backdrop he leaned to her as he placed both of his hand beside her waist, effectively closing her in he whispered, "Are you turned on?" He asked as he let his eyes wander all over her body. Jax looked at her face when he was done by his perusal. He breathed in her scent that was pure female and of jasmine. Maybe it was the effect of being at this house but he couldn't resist leaning down further until his face was nuzzling her neck.

Vee's breath caught when he buried his face in her neck, he took her by surprise! She giggled nervously "I'm always turned on, Jax" she said playfully. But she didn't want anything to happen, not here and not when she thinks that pendant has something to do with it. "Look, can we go back to the mansion now? Hunter is tailing Quin anyway" she said pulling herself a bit trying not to hurt him.
"We can continue this" she shivered "whatever it is, back home" trying to make him look at her

He kissed her on the side of the neck before stepping back, "Maybe we should." He smiled at her as he offered his hand to her. He looked at the medallion that was beside her and he felt its power emanating from it. He shook his head because he knew that he was not planning to take it with him, was he? He was having second thought now, how nice. Not waiting for her response he took her hand and pulled her up, "Let's go."
