I ceased reading fiction whilst I was penning my novel and now that task is complete. The words I put to paper were published. My fiction fast has concluded. I am allowing myself the exquisite folly of losing myself in good yarns.

I refuse to peruse any Kids/MG/YA/NA novels. I vastly prefer books that are arcane, esoteric, intelligent, tongue-in-cheek, etc. I am keen to like extroverted protagonists. Furthermore, I opt for empowered and mature women. I am currently escaping in Dan Brown's Robert Langdon series as well as GRRM's A Song of Ice and Fire series and Scott Marlowe's Tales of the Assassin Without a Name series. I am aspiring to discover stories that will absorb me as much as the before mentioned titles have.
