Wow, Josh! 200 books AND you're on target? I bow to superior reading skills. My name is Leah, I'm 24 and I live in the OTHER commonwealth, Virginia, currently attending Old Dominion University and majoring in English Literature. My reading goal is 50 books this year, and I am 2 books behind schedule. I read kind of slowly, which many people make fun of me for, but I don't care, because I usually seem to remember more of what happened in them than others. I also listen to audiobooks, which I started doing while I was a pizza delivery driver because it was a better use of my time.
I've JUST finished Shadow of the Giant by Orson Scott Card, and am in the middle of The Moon is a Harsh Mistress by Heinlein. I like to read from most genres, but I have a weakness for YA. I can't help it.
My favorite writers include Scott Westerfeld and JK Rowling. My absolute favorite comfort book is Avalon High by Meg Cabot. I read it when I'm sad and it makes me feel better. Don't really know why.
I've never been in a book club before, but I figure it sounds like fun.
Even if you are only getting through 50 books in a year, it is time well spent if some is spent in the Enderverse :)
Most of it this year has been spent in the Enderverse to be honest.Alas, I have SO many books to read for my literature classes! EEK! Reading House of Leaves right now too, along with the others I've listed.

But hi, I'm Josh ... I'm 34 ... from Massachusetts and in the interests of having that ever-growing list, I'm on a quest this year to read 200 books and am even on pace.
Which means I will read just about anything, but also like to have some direction and people to bounce ideas off, hence thinking this group sounded pretty good.
