Sarah . (littlegreyache) | 27 comments i wrote this story with a co-author a few years ago and have recently been told there are reviews for it here on goodreads, and here it is!

we wrote it under one pseudonym, but there are two of us. both of us are on goodreads, but are no longer on speaking terms.

how can i add this book to my profile, as a book of my own, as one of the authors?

So if I read the Internet correctly the two of you, "TeamBella23" and "YellowGlue", wrote it under a joint pseudonym "YellowBella". Is that right?

Sarah . (littlegreyache) | 27 comments yes, that's correct. I'm yellowglue.

I added a blurb and links from the YellowBella profile to the TeamBella23 and YellowGlue author profile pages. Also added the two individual pseudonyms to the book and it looks really strange.

I think I'm right in saying that books written under a pseudonym would normally be listed ONLY under the pseudonym unless the author(s) also wrote under their real name(s) or also had a different, and more famous, pseudonym. For example, there is not much point in adding "Sarah Something" as a co-author if "Sarah Something" doesn't write AS "Sarah Something" since the "Sarah Something" profile would have nothing else on it.

Sarah . (littlegreyache) | 27 comments I understand what you mean. I just feel like, it's mine and I would like readers to know it's mine. That's all.

I have things coming out that will be written under my real name. Perhaps then would be a better time to address this? When there is more than just one title out there by me?

Banjomike | 5166 comments Fanfiction is always a bit odd on Goodreads. If there was an edition of the story available from a publisher under your proper names then there would, I think, be no problem with adding Sarah Something as co-author along with the other co-author's real name.

We'll wait for other people to wander by and add comments.

Sarah . (littlegreyache) | 27 comments Right on. Thank you for your time and your help!

Probably. At that point adding your real name as a secondary author to this fanfic will make more sense, as it won't be the only thing on that profile.

Sarah . (littlegreyache) | 27 comments Good to know. Thank you so much.
