1. Audiobook or book in hand? Book in hand! I never read audiobooks unless it is for school

2. Soft cover or Hardback? I agree with Jacquelyn, there are pros and cons to each. Paperbacks are less expensive while hardcovers are more sturdy and look nicer on my shelf.

3. Fiction or Non-fiction? Ficition!

4. Fantasy world or Real life issues? I like both. I haven't read a lot of books dealing with real life issues, but the ones I have read have been really good. :-)

5. Harry Potter or Twilight? I haven't reader either... I have an excuse!!

6. Kindle, I-pad or other? By other, I think this question means other electronic reader. I haven't read off of a Kindle or an iPad, but I read from my Samsung Galaxy S2 Tablet sometimes.

7. Borrow or Buy? I'd save a lot of money borrowing books, but I always like to own my books whether I like it or not. Also, if I borrow, I'll feel like I would have to be extremely careful since it's not my book.

8. Bookstore or Online? I love browsing the shelves at the bookstore, but I also like the good deals online. Even though I like both, I mainly order books from online.

9. Standalone or Trilogy? A good story is a good story. I love series, but sometimes I can't always go and pick up the next book immediatley. Like ArielBisset says, why can't it just be a full one book journey?

10. Monster read or short and sweet? I agree, Jacquelyn... You other readers can't deny!

11. Stary eyed romance or full of action? I love action books, but I don't hate romance books. I hate it when a book revolves completely around the romance; I like it as a side story.

12. Curl up in your snuggie or Bathe in the sun? Outside with the blinding sun and bugs everywhere? No, I'll be inside curled up in my snuggie.

13. Hot chocolate or latte? It depends on what I'm in the mood for. Usually hot chocolate(with marshmellows), though.

14. Read the review or decide for yourself? I always enjoy reading the reviews before I buy the book. They'll either make me even more excited to read it, or move it down to the bottom of my TBR list.

Adam Collings (adamcollings) | 8 comments 1. Audiobook or book in hand?
I appreciate both. I read more often than I listen, but getting engrossed in a story while I walk home from work is a wonderful experience.

2. Soft cover or Hardback?
Soft. It's easier to handle, and much cheaper too!

3. Fiction or Non-fiction?
Fiction. I live for fiction. That said I do read some non-fiction such as writing craft books and Christian-living type stuff.

4. Fantasy world or Real life issues?
Fantasy world. I'm into speculative fiction. Keep in mind though, fantasy and sci-fi are great tools for exploring real life issues.

5. Harry Potter or Twilight?
Haven't read either series, but I've seen the movies.

6. Kindle, I-pad or other?
Kindle without a doubt. If you want to read a book you use a dedicated e-reader with eInk. Having an eReader app on your tablet is a handy thing, but it doesn't make the tablet an eReader. Anyway, I'm pretty anti-apple these days. I just don't like the philosophy behind their products.

7. Borrow or Buy?
I don't mind borrowing a book. It saves money. I'm wanting to get more into borrowing from the library actually.

8. Bookstore or Online?
Whichever is cheapest. I buy a lot of eBooks so that's obviously online. The trouble with buying physical books online is you often have to pay through the nose for shipping.

9. Standalone or Trilogy?
I like both, but there is something special about following an ongoing story in a familiar world for more than one book.

10. Monster read or short and sweet?
I like to have a mixture of the two. You need some cool little novellas in between the epic reads.

11. Stary eyed romance or full of action?
I like plenty of action.

12. Curl up in your snuggie or Bathe in the sun?
Anywhere the kids won't disturb me really.

13. Hot chocolate or latte?
Hot Chocolate.

14. Read the review or decide for yourself?
I generally avoid reviews until after I've read a book. Afterwards I'm eager to see what others thought.
