Shirleen Davies (shirleendavies) | 1 comments Thomas,

I can't point to any actual increase in sales due to my book trailer, but It's only been up three weeks. I have it on my website, Amazon Author page, and YouTube, which has had very few views but it's a place you can't ignore. I do promote it and need to do more promoting. It's a time issue. I think it's worth the effort,

Thanks very much for your input.

I wonder if anyone else has had any experience with this. Any comments anyone?

Janel Kane (JanelKane) | 9 comments I think of it as another tool in the author's tool kit. It can be used to cut through the noise and get some attention- is it going to make your sales jump? Not by itself. But, it can be used with a strong strategy of engaging your potential audience and can be a very good tool if it's used well. Like many authors are saying that my writing more books and having more available you have a better chance of getting noticed- the same applies to the author's tools for getting noticed. Diversify your strategy and have more content to use for promotion
