Has anyone read this, yet? I'm almost done, and I'm wondering how it compares to others in its genre.

I have. I don't really know which genre Gone Girl would be classified under.

Hated the storyline, but the writing was very very interesting.

I just finished Gone Girl. I enjoyed it for the most part. I thought the characters were well-developed. I found the plot engaging and pretty true to the characters. Then, I got to the end. It was a bit frustrating, a little too close to true of what usually happens with crazy bitch syndrome. I had really hoped that this one time the psycho bitch would get what was coming to her. Oh well, maybe next time.
