Ok are they brother/ sister or step siblings?
Ok.Abe sighed as his dad lectured him on how to behave in front of his step mom and step sister. Abe nodded rolling his eyes. Just then the doorbell rang
Abe's dad opened the door and smiled widely, "Good you're here." He grabbed their luggage and closed the door behind them.
"Abe, why don't you show Sel her room," His dad said.Abe sighed and stood up walking over to them. He nodded at her, "hi. Come, your room is upstairs." he grabbed her bag and walked upstairs.
He opens the door for her and sets the bag on the side.
" 6:30," he said, " I'm Abe by the way."
He smiled, " well I'll let you unpack."
Abe nodded and walked out of her room. He walked downstairs biting his lip slightly
Abe sat back down on the couch and turned the tv on.
" Abe, call Sel for dinner," his dad called. abe got up and went to her room
He walked back downstairs and sat down at the table.
His dad smiles at her and sits down. Abe quietly whistles to himself
The table is set and Abe fills his plate with food. He starts to eat quietly
His dad smiles at Sel and says, " so you're in your senior year of high school right?"Abe stayed quiet
He chuckled, " honey there's no need to call me sir. Call me Jake."
He smiled as he took a bite, " have you thought of what college you want to go to and what you want to study?"
He smiled, " good location for that major. Abe is going to Yale this fall for medicine." Abe looked up at him and continued to eat
" yea I'm going through the pre med track with a concentration in Biology," he said as he chewed.
He nodded slightly and looked at her mother who was quiet
Abe bit his lip and looked around, "um..."
" help me out I don't know what to say," he said shuffling his hair
Abe signed and finished his food quietly
" um...I can show you around town if you want," Abe said putting his dishes away
He smiled, " ok just let me know when you're done."
He smiled and grabbed his Keys and purse. He took her to his car
((hahaha I keep doing that I meant wallet))
He backs out of the driveway and drives into town. " so...what got you interested in marine biology?"
" that's cool," he said smiling. He showed her the stores and restaurants in town
" well ive always loved biology. But what really sparked me was when I went to Africa and held at a medical center for the poor. And that's when I knew I wanted to be a doctor and help you know," he said
He tilted his head slightly, " what do you mean? "
He chuckled softly and parked on the side of the road. " ice cream?" he asked her
He smiled and got out of the car. He took her to the icecream shop. " what kind do you want?" he asked her
" ok," he said and ordered hers and got himself chocolate chip.
He paid and sat down on the bench licking his ice cream
