One cool day a Crow was flying high above the sky. He then swooped lower down and began gazing upon a beautiful flock of peacocks in the kings's palace. The Crow was very jealous of their beauty and quickly came up with an idea. "I know!" he said maliciously, "I'll go disguise myself to be a beautiful peacock." So he zoomed doewn to the king's palace toward the peacocks and landed covertly on the lawn."Well, what do you know, their very own feathers on the lawn just for my taking." he snickered. So he picked up the feathers that belonged to the peacocks and stuck them in his own. "There," he said. He walked over majestically to the group of peacocks. Then a peacock turned around and said,"You are an imposter!" and they all pecked the feathers off of the crow. "Poor me, " he thought as he flew back to his home land. When he finally reached his destination, the news of what happened reached his friends. They all banished him outof his humble abode. The poor Crow packed all his belongins and headed off to Ohio. So in the end the Prideful Crow learned a lesson. You cannot fool anyone with borrowed feathers.
