Here is where we can discuss Cold Fire by Kate Elliott, chapters 31-36.
DO NOT post any spoilers from further along in the book, this is just for chapters 31-36. Discussing events from these chapters is perfectly fine.

Thought I was going to savor this one over several days. Got caught up in the story and read until the wee hours this morning. Finished it.

Thought Vai is a bit more fleshed out in this book. Several other characters are still mostly background for Cat's story, but I am okay with that.

Cat's sire (I'm not sure we can say her biological father) being the Master of the Wild Hunt was a bit of surprise, as was the fact that the Master did not even see Camjiata -- not important at all to her sire. Interesting.

Had to finish it. A nice fun read for me.
