I am, only because I'm hoping that Amy will dump Jake and get to her senses and choose Ian. Very disappointed in that thought that Ian will die and am pretty excited with what the old authors will bring back and if they can fix the new ones mistakes. You?
Same here. I hope that Jamy will die out in the first book of the series. And for Amian to happen! I'm also hoping that they explain more about the Guardians in this series. It would be interesting if they focused on them.
I wouldn't say that its the worst book I've ever read, but it could've been much different. It depends on the person really. There's some people who liked it, and some people who didn't.I didn't like it because the characters were OOC (especially Amy and Ian) and so many questions I had were left unanswered. I felt that Vesper 1 was a little too predictable and I'm very mad at the how some of my favourite characters died. Lastly, I didn't like who Amy ended up with at the end.
It was kind of funny how Ian acted, even though he would never act like that.Ian used stereotypical British words that he never uses. They made him weak by "crying" and "sniffling" in the scene where he's talking to Isabel. Ian is usually the one who rarely shows his emotions because of what his parents taught him. He always knew when the time was to remain expressionless.
I just felt that they made him weak in this book. He wasn't the usual suave Lucian we once knew.

♫♥Selena♥♫, THE LUCIANS SHALL DESTROY ALL! Or win.. Winning's good too.

((I shipped Amian)). But, to be honest, a lot of the books in the Cahills vs Vespers series was not all that well written. I'm not sure if I will purchase the new books, because my shelf is running out of room with close to ??twenty?? of them already? That's a ludicrous amount, and series should meet good ends, instead of Scholastic trying to leech off of it as much as possible. (Unpopular opinion?)

The dynamic in most of the books were terrible. The Vespers were much too cheesy villain types. It might have been a good series to have only one author for.
My favourite, by far, was Shatterproof (4). I had only gained respect for the series from that particular. (Once again, unpopular opinion?).
I liked The Dead of Night the most in the Cahills Vs Vespers series. Maybe because it was written by Peter Lerangis. The only thing I didn't really like about Shatterproof was the Jamy kiss.
As of now, Amian isn't canon in the series. I have little faith in the authors for bringing back Amian.
I know this is off topic, but who thinks it's weird, that in the Black Book of Buried Secrets, they put Obama down as a Lucian? I mean, I would rather think of him as a Vesper, since they're just a little evil and so is he. . . Well, in my opinion. Yeah, I'm a republican.
I can tell. I can really, really tell. And as much as I disagree, I too would have the tendency to name a few other political leaders 'Vespers'. Obama just didn't come to mind.
I'd start with dictators who have starved their countries, then rebels who take the food sent during a famine and use it to serve their armies...As much as I dislike my Prime Minister who is much worse than Obama for political games--but has dulled the appearance of it (unfair play, that is), I would never go so far as to call our Prime Minister a Vesper.
If he decides to take money out of the school systems for oil, takes down our universal health care and spends money without restraint on war items, then I would begin to be concerned.
He's already taken down gun registration, and that should probably have been enough for me to hate him. But hate is so unbecoming, we have to work with what we have. Refusing to acknowledge someone's position of power is only worth it if you're trying to break the country (or if you're fighting for one cause in particular, like the South African Aparthied).

If it is-- why?
No idea. The last war-concerning thing I heard about was that stuff with Korea. Yes, I'm behind on this stuff. And to the last person, who was talking about Obama, forgot your name, sorry, I would think, if they haven't already named him one, that Hitler would be a Vesper.
I don't know if I'm wrong or not, but I'm trying to catch up on the series. I'm going to start Shadderproof today, but, yeah, I'm a little behind.

What do you think will happen?
