Types of Devil Fruit:

Paramecia
Main article: Paramecia
The most common of the three classes, users of Paramecia class Devil Fruits gain superhuman physical abilities or powers, such as shock wave generation and locking onto targets. Other users can alter features of their bodies or their environment, such as a body of blades and levitating objects. Finally, there are some users that can manipulate and generate some kinds of substances, such as wax and poison.

Zoan
Main article: Zoan
The users of Zoan class Devil Fruits gain the ability to transform into an animal (and acquire every ability affiliated with said animal). The user can also transform into a human-beast hybrid form. There are Zoan Devil Fruits not only for common animals, but for prehistoric or ancient animals and mythological creatures as well (ancient and mythological are rarer, with mythological said to be even rarer than some Logia Devil Fruits).
There also exist manufactured Zoan Devil Fruits, fashioned by Vegapunk and Donquixote Doflamingo. While Vegapunk's fruit was a failure, Doflamingo's fruits, renamed "SMILEs" were a success. They are manufactured in his factories using Caesar Clown's SAD, and sold to big names of the sea. Kaido of the Yonko even used them to create an army of Devil Fruit users.

Logia
Main article: Logia
The rarest of the three classes, users of Logia class Devil Fruits gain the ability to transform themselves into an element (making them intangible or indestructible, the exception being the darkness Logia power which keeps the human body and makes the user more vulnerable towards pain). They also gain every ability related to that element and gain the skill to disperse, control and rejoin any part of their bodies while conscious and in control of their powers (including explosions, bullet wounds or cuts). Logia users can move every part of their transformed bodies while in element form.

They're all awesome in my opinion :3
but yeah, they made one of the strongest 'bad guys' in the series have a Logia power :)
But... although they can turn themselves into their element they're still powerless when in contact with sea stone, or still water :3

I'd like to make a devil fruit user with power over blood... Hmm...

The Blood devil fruit is Paramecia, but yeah i gave you permission, and a link to the actual blood fruit :3

Is it ok if Dax nabs the smoke logia fruit later on?

I'd rather only have one Logia fruit per crew, having more then one just makes them to powerful, if you'd like to make another character I'd happily put the Moku Moku no Mi on hold for you :)

Aye aye! I understand how that could be abused, I'm mostly gonna use it for fast travel and ambush purposes.

I don't know :3 there's basically a devil fruit for every thing, it just depends what you'd prefer

Kuro wasn't all that great though, he pretty much retired and I reckon the whole Straw Hat crew could beat him now :3

you're welcome to make a character based on him though :) you can even add in a devil fruit if you'd like, no ones character is really any stronger then anyone else's in an RP, but Kuro seemed like the kind of guy to make a lot of enemies easily as well as fool people just as easy :3

For the Zoan group, could my character have a shape-shifting Devil Fruit that makes it so he can change another person's appearence while touching them only?(as well as his own appearence I mean). Kind of like a two body/headed creature. I'm trying to make sure before I create him, it's not to be mean or anything...
