The Great Hugo Read discussion

Wrapped up reading the 2013 nominees last night. Since I don't have voting membership at Worldcon, doesn't much matter that my ballot is late:

1) Blackout
2) Redshirts
3) 2312
4) Throne of the Crescent Moon
5) Captain Vorpatril's Alliance

I finished a week ago or so. I agree with Blackout as the best of the bunch. The only one I disliked was 2312, but I didn't find any of them particularly great.

I'm (pleasantly) surprised to see Blackout doing so well in our rather small sample.
