I just finished this book and it was way different then I expected. 13 short Kinsey stories, a mini bio of Grafton and then 13 Kit Blue stories. The Kinsey stories were pretty good, but I wish they were interspersed between more bio information of Grafton. The Kit Blue stories I did not care for, I found them repetitive and too far off of what I have come to expect from Grafton. I wasn't engaged as they are not my kind of read.
Hi Jodi,I just saw your comment about Kinsey and Me. I listened to the audio book last week and enjoyed most of the Kinsey stories with their imaginative plots. I listened to the first Kit story and had to stop after that. Did not enjoy it at all--a lot of the story was pure wallowing in misery.
I have read this already. it was interesting to read more about her characters in detail. Sue Grafton is one of my favorite authors. Am reading W is for Wasted right now.
