Eye island is located somewhere near the middle of the North Sea. It is the home of a pretty large Marine Headquarters. The Headquarter itself isn't really too special to speak of. What makes this Island stand out aside from it's shape. Is the fact it is a practical Haven from Bounty Hunters. The Shops are tailored made to the wants and needs of the Hunters, the people in the villages look at the Hunters with more respect then they do the Marines. And there are even information brokers, who make it their business to know everything, and sell their knowledge for a price, but are well known to trade information. Do to it's prime location, slap dab in the middle of the North Blue, this place is perfect for Bounty Hunters to drop off their bounties, resupply, get leads on the next big Bounty, and to get a good nights sleep. Because the Island is so filled with Hunters, the only pirates seen here, are usually in chains being ready to be shipped off to a larger Marine bases. The non-existent Pirate threat, because only a fool would enter a Island of Bounty Hunters, has lead to a thinning of Marine forces outside of the Main base in Iris City. However, they are sprinkled around the here and there, to keep a measure of order, because Bounty Hunters can tend to get rowdy, when competing for bounties. Eye Island, as the name would suggest is shaped like and eye in both shape and color. East and West Caruncle are cold but with all the activity, and lights and bodies moving around, the cold is actually relaxing. Now when you leave these to towns, there is about a days walk to Iris City, but a couple of hours if you go by train. The space between the Caruncles and Iris City, is like something out of a dream. The scenery is pure white snow, as far as the eye can see. Now while it looks beautiful, the terrain can be harsh, to the unprepared travelers. Of course there are a couple of Inns located here and there, but you'd really have to be looking for them to find them. The area is also filled with polar bears, wolves, both of which are much larger then their normal counter parts, and some even say they've seen a Yeti. There are less threatening animals lurking in there as well, like snow bunnies, and foxes. No one usually treks through the what they call the "Winter wonderland" unless their Bounties have escaped and foolishly ran off. The scenery goes from pure white, to vibrant lights and sounds as the train pulls into Iris City. And in the very middle of the island, is Pupil Headquarters.
~ Pupil Headquarters ~
In these headquarters the primary Marine force of the Island is stationed. Pupil town houses high ranking Marine Officers, and boasts having the nicest commendations for it's men. Being that Pupil Town is responsible for taking in the most Pirates, and Criminals in the North Blue(largely thanks to it's Large Bounty Hunter population), they are giving more money to keep up the place, and to give out for bounties. Because of the sum of money that Pupil headquarters is known to house, the Marines have placed some of it's finest to guard it's walls.
~ Iris City ~
It is the area that immediately surrounds pupil Headquarters.It is an area that never sleeps. This is were most of the Bounty Hunters turn in Bounties, and meet up with information brokers. It also holds some pubs and good places to eat. Even though there is a lot of prisoners being brought through here it really is the calmest place on the island, except for the usual drunken brawl. Being so close to the Marine Headquarters, Hunters try not to cause too much trouble. This is the main reason why information Brokers tend to set up shop here as well, so they aren't muscled out of their source of income.
~ East & West Caruncle ~
They are really two sides of the same coin. They are located on opposites sides of the Island, and are the only places where ships can dock on the Island. They also provide shops where Hunters can buy supplies, and get there weapons fixed. There are a plethora of Inns here as well. The Majority of the the population that aren't Hunters or Marines live in these towns, all of them are in stable living conditions, as there is is always a demand for the goods they sale. The docks look more like cities then anything.
