Ronyell (rabbitearsblog) | 105 comments Who's your favorite writer for the X-Men comics? Mine's are:

Chris Claremont - He was pretty much responsible for the popularity of the X-Men and he created so many memorable moments for the X-Men characters.

Joss Whedon - He's sort of like the Chris Claremont for the new generation and his work on Astonishing X-Men was one of the most amazing works I had ever seen!

Mark Millar - I loved his run on Ultimate X-Men as he introduced the X-Men into a new time line and we are still able to relate to these characters.

I really need to check out Rick Remender's work on Uncanny X-Force. I've heard so many good things about that run, but I haven't been able to read it yet!

I really need to read Peter David's work on X-Factor! I've been hearing so many good things about it, but I could never get the comics!

Mike | 19 comments His stuff can be very hit or miss (I stopped reading the current X-Factor series for a couple years in the middle) but overall I enjoyed it a lot. He has a good knack for taking second string characters and developing them into compelling leads.

His trades from the first series (when the team was led by Havok) will unfortunately be tough to find, but Marvel's starting a new collection of the Madrox led stuff in Feb. X-Factor by Peter David: The Complete Collection Volume 1 will collect the Madrox mini-series lead in and the first twelve issues of the subsequent X-Factor series, so it'd be a perfect jumping on point.

That's great to hear! I'll pick it up as soon as I can!

I actually got Rick Remender's Uncanny X-Force, but I haven't been able to read it yet! Guess I'll try to read it this week!

I was initially on the fence with Final Execution, Dark Angel Saga is way better but with subsequent rereads and the fact that it's referenced Uncanny avengers, i've become more favorable to it. Remender was really good in Uncanny X-force

I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about Final Execution, but I'll check it out anyway.
