Who's Your Author? discussion

Please nominate your choice for the August BOM (Book of the Month) nominations

The Guidelines
1. Each member can make two suggestions but one will need to be YA and the other can be UF/PNR
2. The nomination should be either the first or second book in a series
3. Please give both the title and author when suggesting or use the link so I can make sure the correct book is chosen
4. Please check the BOM History to make sure you don't pick a book that has already been featured

I just finished book 4. I have to finished a few ARC's then I plan to read books 5-8 back to back. This has become one of my favorite series.

I'm going to read and I'm planning to get back, although August and September are already almost booked. I never planned my readings before... yes, we shall see Chicken Little running like a deranged kid screaming "The sky is falling! The sky is falling!"

The Devil You Know by Mike Carey - urban fantasy about an exorcist, Felix Castor and his frenemies. Its dark and gritty and I absolutely loved it and all the others in the series. Its out in pb so its easy to find although he's British so you have to wait forever for the new ones to make it across the ocean. I usually recommend it to fans of the Harry Dresden series.The Devil You Know

This appears to be contemporary YA would you say that is true? If so do you have another book in mind we like to keep everything in this group about UF or PNR
