Etienne has been staying at this place for a while now and he was still not used to so many things. First of all, he knew that he shouldn't be feeling loneliness in this godforsaken human world but he had no where to go after he escaped Hell. He ran a hand through his blonde hair and he thought of how human it was that it made him think of how he would be able to fit in.
Glancing at his room, he almost wished that he hadn't left his cave back in the 4th circle in Hell but he had enough of the sulfur and the other demons that came with it. He stood up and went to his door so that he can observe the humans and in that way he can learn how their emotions work.

Shade walked the streets wondering which tree looked the comfiest. She was once an orphan so she really had no money to get an apartment of her own. So trees were the best option.
Shade looked at the woman who had woken her and pointed up the road. "Couple of buildings down that way and to your right." She yawned.

Etienne watched as the woman and young child enter where he was staying at. It was none of his business to meddle in any human affairs but he was curious so he followed them in a decent distance.
Shade felt the man following and ignored it. "he probably has somewhere to go" she thought continuing on.
He can hear the girl like he was right beside her but he just smiled at the little human while he keeping his stride with theirs.
"Hey who is the person watching us?" Shade asked
Shade watched the person walk towards them and started inching her way to the person.
Etienne kept his distance from the other beings. It was in his nature to talk about anything but as of right now he was not in the mood. What he is the mood for was staying quiet and observing them at a safe distance.
Etienne was amused by what the stranger had said so in a baritone voice he addressed her, "We are but I was just wondering how long can anyone of us notice it." The side of his mouth lifted and although it was not a smile it was the best he can do right now.
"Well you aren't good at it so it didn't take much."
Etienne looked at the person who just insulted him. "Was I talking to you?"
Shade raises both of her arms "Fine, I'll be quiet." She made a zipping motion over her mouth.
