David (canadiandave) I'm sure many of you have gotten the e-mail from Jamie. I've loved being on the group for the past 5 years or so. I've read hundreds of great books, participated in secret santas, "met" some amazing people, and graduated from university...and then graduated from university again. So, what are we all up to now that we're no longer college students? I'm sure we'd all like to know.

David (canadiandave) My update:

2009 - Graduated from university (Master of Library Science)
2011 - Quit job job as academic librarian and moved to England
2012 - Graduated from University in England (MA - International Relations)
2012 - Moved back to states and worked as Portuguese Coordinator at a University and as a children's librarian
2013 - Started a new job selling computer software to libraries and museums (less glamourous, but pays more).

I'm also involved in the local boardgame community, swing dance, ballroom dance (when possible), and hope to jump back into some community theatre. Life is good. Oh, and I just turned 30. :P And I might read a lot too.

My update:

April 2012 - Graduated from University! Am now a Med School graduate :)
July 2012 - Started my first job as a real doctor at a Pulmonology department
May 2013 - Got accepted for a residency to become a GP, I'm starting in September!

Aside from the job stuff, I'm still reading a lot, I'm part of the Broke and Bookish crew, have my personal blog (http://between-thepages.blogspot.com) and recently got into Blogilates :)

Samantha (samhanson) | 179 comments Congrats on the new jobs and residencies, you two!

I was so glad to read that message from Jamie. I've loved participating in this group too but have slacked a little recently. Now that I've graduated though I really want to make sure I keep my reading up and I think participating in the challenges and group reads will be a great way to. I'm excited for this group to be more inclusive of 20-somethings and recent grads.

So here's my update:
May 2013 - Graduated with a BFA in Printmaking.
June 2013 - Looking for work
July 2013 - Looking for work
August 2013 - Looking for work

The struggle continues! But hopefully not too much longer.

Annie Hartman (anniebananie) | 242 comments I still love this group, though, I too have been away from it a little longer than I would have liked. Amazing that IN college I had so much more time for reading and blogging about it!

Update:
May 2012- Graduated with a B.S. in Public Relations and Journalism.
June 2012- Could not face leaving Vermont to get a job in my field. Thus, waitressing. Hooray.
March 2013- Landed a job at a dental office. I am now a licensed dental assistant and will be going back to school for dental hygiene.

Funny where life takes us! :)

My update:
May 2013 - Graduated with a BA in Comparative Literature (concentration in French) & Sociology
June & July 2013 - part time job hunter, part time intern
August 2013 to present - Moved to Boston for my new job in nonprofit and loving it!
