No problem (: and, it was!
How was you guys' summer ?

message 8: by Josie (new)

Josie | 177 comments Mod
Eh, pretty cool. I went to the beach, Silver Dollar City, and to Chicago. Ok, it was totally awesome! Right now I'm just sitting here listening to music and reading Teenager Posts because I have nothing better to do :). Ah summer....

message 9: by Carley (new)

Carley I went to Disney world to but just Disney.

I'm just procrastinating on my summer hw now xD

message 11: by Josie (new)

Josie | 177 comments Mod
Yeah, I'll have summer work next year. Geometry during the school year is bad enough, I don't need work during the summer too! Camille, what all work do you have? If it's Algebra, I can help :)

message 12: by Camille (new)

Camille (chammille) | 71 comments Mod
Yeah, nope. It's all this stuff:

1. Read 1984 and write a documented essay based on it
2. Read Tempest by Shakespeare and prepare for a writing assignment the first day back
3. Write 10 "day journals" in German
4. Complete a massive AP Calculus packet
5. Do problems out of a Calc book for AP Physics

...yup. All before September /OTL

message 13: by Josie (new)

Josie | 177 comments Mod
Omg, seriously?!? That's like the most impossible workload ever! Haha, is that why you were asking people if 1984 was any good? Also, I don't plan on taking a language. Like, ever.

message 14: by Camille (new)

Camille (chammille) | 71 comments Mod
I KNOW. UGH.

Yup for the 1984. And, you should! Opens doors, man :D
I might go to Germany for my class trip next year!! So excited xD

Btw, I started off the all factions rp if someone wants to jump in (:

message 15: by Josie (new)

Josie | 177 comments Mod
Already did :). And thanks!

message 16: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 8 comments I have to read 1984 as a summer reading assignment too, but that's about it.

Joelyn | 6 comments Have any of you guys seen the divergent teaser trailer? I think it looks super good!

message 18: by Julia (new)

Julia Mc | 18 comments Okay sorry I haven't been on I have been super busy, Camille: UNIVERSAL AND DISNEY... I wish I was back last time I went I had so much fun. What was your favorite part?

message 19: by Julia (new)

Julia Mc | 18 comments And Josie how was chicago I've never been but if I go anything I should check out?
And Carley, Favorite part about disney? mines the fireworks

message 20: by Julia (new)

Julia Mc | 18 comments My summer was super busy I was volunteering at a camp for children with learning disabilities and babysitting for most of it, Although I got to go down to Nashville to help my brother move in, that was pretty cool

message 21: by Julia (new)

Julia Mc | 18 comments And I though the divergent teaser trailer was awesome, so far it looks like they have not messed up the story line to much

message 22: by Julia (new)

Julia Mc | 18 comments and sorry for all the posts...

Oh yeah, it was great! I think if there's only one thing you do, make it the Field Museum. It's kind of expensive but if you go you'll want to save the entire day opening to close there. It is so huge that it's pretty much impossible to enjoy the whole thing in a single day! And from the top steps of the museum entrance you can see the VIP seats in the Chicago Cubs baseball stadium :). Also, go to the Red Hot Ranch hot dog place or the Bang Bang Pie Shop. Both are really great :D. Other than that, just plain walking around the Magnificent Mile (so many shops!) and Navy Pier is thoroughly entertaining; it's no problem finding things to do in Chicago ^.^! And on another note, all the posts are good! That's what general chat is for :)

message 24: by Carley (new)

Carley Really likes Epcot, that was cool

message 25: by Carley (new)

Carley How was universal?

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

(I am new) Hello, guys, I am new to this group but it sounds super fun! Divergent is one of my favorite books as well as Insurgent, and I can't wait for Allegiant! Sorry, Camille, this is a duplicate but I would be in Erudite. Thanks guys!

I get intimidated by large amounts of track xD
I prefer riding rollercoasters in the dark

message 37: by Carley (new)

Carley Love the use of the term youngins

message 38: by Josie (new)

Josie | 177 comments Mod
Ah yes, I can also testify to the fact that she enjoys old people talk. I.e.: dickens, youngins, etc. Haha, I'm just as a bad though, just with big words. I like using the big word version of everything I know it for. I did that this evening and my dad told me to stop pulling out the four dollar words.....
