I thought it might be nice to post a link to a short story every 3 weeks or so, that we could all discuss.

Have you read this one? The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas [Full text] by Ursula le Guin - it's pretty good and very thought-provoking

Wow - finished it about 5 minutes ago and feel as if I've been holding my breath ever since. Makes you think about all the suffering in the world and how many of our comforts we'd be willing to give up to make things better.
