Description of the Keepers.

Originally the Labyrinth was hosted by a local relative of the Cheshire Cat and the Witch herself. But since this is a pretty clumsy reboot of the game, let me introduce the two witch's apprentices. OK, there was actually only one apprentice played by me (and a knight in one quest), but two is better, no?

A long time after the Witch was gone and the Labyrinth was falling into oblivion, two peculiar siblings returned to the lonely island in the middle of a pretty unfriendly sea to once again make it their home.

They are no real siblings to be true, but two versions of one entity from two parallel realities, but that is close enough. They grew up under pretty much different circumstances and had different fates, except for this one - returning back to the Labyrinth.

Dae, The Black Keeper, also known as The Traveler

Gender: Male
Race/Species: Mutant, originally half-human, the species of his other parent is unknown
Age: Unknown, but as far the legends go, he's at least half a millennium old; looks like a man in his early thirties (or mid-twenties as stated in his travels through other realms)
Appearance: Human, Caucasian, around 185 cm, athletic, short black hair, brown-green eyes with vertical pupils, wears military-type clothes of dark, usually black colors. No special gear - doesn't really need any, the Labyrinth provides him with everything
Personality: Not very talkative, even grumpy at times, but very reliable in general. The man of actions, not words. Has been forcibly turned into a mutant, been through many battles, so suffering from trauma and being haunted by memories of the past, but really tries not to show that he's affected.
Abilities and Weaknesses: As the Keeper controls the magic of the Labyrinth in a way. Being a mutant has a very high healing factor, good reflexes, strength, as well as some crazy stuff going on with his blood in general. Well, you can imagine the Venom from Spidey, but not on the outside, but black matter running through his veins, almost living a life of its own, at times of need oozing through his tissue and turning into a deadly weapon. But he's not indestructible, especially what comes to his emotional state.
Background: Does not remember much from his early years. The father was a might-crazed tyrant, who got quickly stripped of his powers and titles and had to go into hiding. Never really knew his mother, who got killed by assassins during an attempt to murder his father. Got taken into a nice family of his mother's friends, familiar with high society, got good education. Met the Witch, when she decided to leave the island and travel the realm. The Witch decided he got the talent and taught him a thing or two in managing the magic of creation. During a period of mayhem and wars in his realm got enrolled into military, where by reason of his originally good physics was made into a mutant - part of a special task force. Doesn't speak much of those years.
Story: When the war was over his military division was declared murderers and out of law, survivors got hunted and transferred to high security prisons for trial and executing death penalties. Prior to arriving to the island he was being transferred to a such place, but the ship got into a heavy storm - he was the only survivor washed ashore. Finding that this place is slightly familiar and away from usual communications, decided to stay. Mainly to keep himself safe and forget the past.
Relationship and Sexuality: Single, generally hetero

Riin, The White Keeper

Gender: Female
Race/Species: Cursed human
Age: Approximately her mid-twenties
Appearance: Human, Caucasian, around 165 cm, a little bit plump, has shoulder-length dark brown hair, brown eyes, wears different dresses, hats... Well, girly stuff, but not to the extreme. Actually hates everything baby pink, sparkly etc. Sometimes carries books, MP3-player or some other stuff she's currently into around.
Personality: Curious, easy-going, sometimes even silly. Likes to shock people, in a good way, of course. Usually very gentle, but Dae has already seen a wicked side to her too. And does not suggest you make her angry. Loves her sibling.
Abilities and Weaknesses: As the Keeper controls the magic of the Labyrinth in a way, maybe even better than the other guy. Probably due to her natural curiosity and fun-loving nature. Can not be killed as no reaper wants her soul. Or can't take it. All in all, just a human, physically not so fit even, just learned to do some magic due to her living in the Labyrinth.
Background: Has an amnesia as to everything that concerns her personal data. Her name might not be her name even.
Story: Got pulled into this realm because of Dae's past. The guys hunting him got so desperate that consulted some local renegade mage of high caliber. The man promised to get them the outlaw for a good price, but the ritual, as usually, went wrong, so Riin got ripped into this realm, loosing her memories and getting cursed into not dying. And by some crazy twist of fate she landed right on the island where the other her was living for a while now. The magic of the Labyrinth responded to her, so she decided to stay for good company.
Relationship and Sexuality: Single, generally hetero
