The Labyrinth (Advanced RP, Inviting Members) discussion

This topic is created for your character requests and their discussions. All characters accepted for the game will be listed in the Approved Characters topic.

You can create a character of any race, gender, background, religion etc. Please do not use already existing book/movie/game characters, though you can always create one of your own based on some well-known prototype.

Up to 3 main characters per person simultaneously.

Only 1 Quest per character. So basically, if your Chara A is already in a Quest, the Keepers won't lead another Quest for him as long as he's in the Labyrinth. Your Chara B can start a Quest of his own.

Would be nice if you didn't multiply your main characters in non-Labyrinth locations as well.

You can create as many passing-by characters you need in non-Labyrinth locations, but if they get bigger roles, get them registered, so we can keep track. I know how characters tend to get a life of their own.

Personality: he is a very antisocial person usually he only talks to his raven which is almost always perched upon his shoulder. But when he does speak he has a low rough voice which sounds similar to scraping of a rusty knife on a wall. He is also wise beyond his years sometimes though he does make mistakes like when he decided to spy on someone which caused him to be forced to where he is now.

Abilities:
-he is very wise (usually sometimes his anger gets the better of him)
-he is very agile and can easily fit into small spaces of narrow passages
-he can be very persuasive if needed

Weaknesses: his anger clouds his judgment which causes him to make rash choices.

Background: he grew up with a natural interest in books and scrolls but being from a poor family they were very hard to come around but when he did he grabbed it like a starving dog did food. So he had little education but reading after he left his home he began to search for knowlege and still is.

Relationship Status/Sexuality: it's not really relevant but, homosexual

Pelajos is somewhat of a paragon. He is lithely muscled and has shining golden hair that falls elegantly to his shoulders. He bears a soft face, with pale skin and deep emerald eyes. His limbs are sublty longer than most, giving his movements a sense of languid grace. Along his right arm is a crimson marking. It is a ritual tattoo, and marks him as one of the finest swordsmen of his race. It writhes across his arm to the elbow, leaving little of his pale skin to be seen. He rarely wears armour to battle, and outside of it he wears a flowing white robe, simply enchanted to ensure it remains unblemished by blood or dirt. Constantly at his side is his scabbard, a work of art in itself; carved bone engraved with swirling runes and prophecies. Inside that beauteous housing is his sword, Shadow . It is made of darksteel, and shines with the essence of it's crafter; now long dead. It's hilt is of obsidian, inlaid with sapphire, and seeing it's magnificence one may expect it to be purely decorative, but Pelajos wields it with unearthly skill.
Personality:
Again, this man is almost impossible to flaw. He is wise, charismatic and skillful. But proud. He takes his honour unto a life-consuming obsession; always seeking to better himself, to eearn new glory, new adoration, new honour.
Abilities:
1) Minor telepathic abilities, i.e. Psychic Messaging.
2) Heals extremely quickly; a wound that would kill lesser beings merely puts Pelajos inactive for awhile. Obviously, though, he can still be killed by a vicious enough wound.
3) (Improvement upon Canon) Immune to (most) diseases and poisons.
Weaknesses:
Pride.
No ability to fight at range.
Often reckless or arrogant.
Background:
((Warning. Nothing here is to be considered canon vis a vis Half-Celestials. This is ll coming off the top of my head.))
Pelajos' father had been a great man, and great things were expected of Pelajos. He failed to disappoint, proving adept at matters of war, the mind, and of politics. He was many a time offered the chance to take his father's place as a member of the council. He declined each time, pursuing his martial studies further. He was soon given his title: "First Sword" marking him as one of the premier swordsmen amongst his race. His pride at this was immense, and he was slowly consumed by an unending desire to further better himself, no matter the personal cost. He trained focussedly and endlessly, gaining higher honours, and leading him further upon his obsessive path of self-improvement.
Relationship Status/Sexuality: Single Heterosexual. Not that it likely matters.
Other: Often prefers to be called by his family name: "Iskilsa".

Personality: Before landing on the island about 1200 years ago Morph was an simple sailor with a somewhat extraordinary gift. During a trip from the Port of Alexandria his ship sailed right into a storm that brought him to the island of the Labyrinth. Being a free spirit and not tolerating any authority, Morph managed to make the tenants of the island angry and was cursed with a power that multiplied his own gift by the force of 1000. He can have a thousand faces, that change according to the situation. Since coming to this life-changing no man's land Morph has found his refuge in the caves of the rocky shores, from where he seldomly exits to play tricks on the newcomers and the White Keeper.
Abilities: shapeshifting, healing small injuries and ocasional predictions of the future

Background: Henry grew up as the son of a rich scholar and when his father died he follow in his foot steps and became the same one day he went out to sea to find a certain animal rumored in the area. Unfortunately he got sucked out to a storm which sunk his boat it should have killed him but he survived and washed up on this island.

Firstly, about the sexuality/relationship part - it's taken from other groups which, I agree, are not set as advanced rp right from the start. And I agree it's irrelevant, but... ! I can imagine that even in an advanced game some flirting and romance might take place, even should probably. And there's always a chance the girls might come to quest the Labyrinth for a knight in shining armor or a prince on a white horse, or vice versa. And I as the host do need to know what type (gender etc.) knight/prince/princess to offer you. Or at least some of you might get tempted by such an inhabitant of the Labyrinth, we never know.

John, approved. Loved the ax part. Pinpointing his arrival time to the island somewhere after Booth and the lot since the character will only be played in the future (or just thoroughly correct me, if I'm wrong).

Just a note: try not to turn the Hell Fire ability (the rest as well) into god-modding by chance. It's approved as it is, but better not overdo it.
And it seems we yet again got us a pair of natural enemies on set. Before it was Charlie (being a light mage) and Morph (light being his weakness), now Lysander (hell spawn) and Iskilsa (half-celestial).

Background: Milina was born and raised in Venice, Italy where most of her human life was spent. When she was 24 years old she was happily married with a prince that actually let her do what she wanted. One night when her and her husband were sleeping and there was a sudden knock on the door. She frowned making her way to the door before it was kicked in. Standing in front of her was a man about the same age she was. The man took her in his arms and bit her. When she became a vampire she ended up having to leave her family.
Story: Melina ends up on the island when she is on her way to her home in spain. The ship got caught in a storm while she was asleep in her coffin. Seeking to the fact her coffin was light it just drifted to the shore of the island.
Relationship Status/Sexuality: Single and straight.

Personality: She's a very up beat kind of person who loves to figure most things on her own. She makes friends easily but isn't dependent on them.
