Make a Charrie and Start!

The loud high trilling shriek of the alarm clock quickly filled the small house, causing the man sleeping in the bed to groan and flip over, throwing the blanket over his head at the same time. He tried to block out the trill alarm by covering his head with his pillow, but after a few moments the man realize the alarm wasn't going to subside. Ethan swore softly under his breath as he blinked the sleep from his eyes. Yawning, he dropped his head back down, not waiting to get up, he had never been a morning person. But slowly he rose from the bed, stretching out as he headed over to the window and stepped out onto the small side pouch.

Looking around at the quiet woodlands surrounding him, Ethan leaned against the rickety wooden railing as he picked up a small red and white box. Tapping the box against the palm of his hand, a small cigarette fell out which he placed between his lips but restrained from lighting yet. Wondering if he had rent for this month, three small voices could be heard waking up as well.

Nate:
A harsh jab in the side by a foot stirred Nate awake. He opened his eyes to the hard, cold, tile floor. This was not unusual for Nate as there was only one bed and only the boy that Alex chose for the night could sleep in there. In some ways Nate preferred to sleep on the floor as it resulted in less injuries from Alex. He turned his head to see Max, a boy a few years older than him and the oldest of the three boys Alex controled. "Hey Max."

Max didn't seem like he was up for pleasantries, instead he pulled Nate up quickly from the floor and whispered, "Alex is out until tonight, so we can leave, just make sure you are back before nine." Nate was elated and smiled widely, throwing on some clothes and leaving, sending Ethan a quick text, "Hey man, what's up? I'm free today, want to hang?"

Barely 10 minutes later the smell of eggs filled the small knicken as Ethan busied himself with the preparation of breakfast for three picky toddlers, who at the moment sat restive at the table. Suddenly as Ethan was placing plates in front of his siblings, his pocket rang out a soft four note tune. Reaching for his phone, he grinned when he saw Nate's number flash on screen, after a quick glance at the girls and Noah, Ethan replied back. "Yeah sure, Meet in 10?".

Nate:
At first Nate was incredibly happy to be out of the house and couldn't wait to meet up with Ethan, whom he had had a huge crush on for a long time, but then he looked down and realized that he had ran out of the house so quickly he only had put on a loose tank top and some cut offs. It was nearly 40 degrees outside. Shivering, Nate texted back Ethan, "Awesome, where you wanna meet up?" He then found a corner to sit at and sat there, pulling his knees to his chest to try and keep warm.
