I just finnished 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez and it was a great book. Very entertaining, and quite quriky. I loved reading it.

One hundred years of solitude is definetely a must-read... but as some people find it dense I would suggest Chronicle of a Death Foretold
Love both of those novels. 100 YOS is an all time favorite of mine!
