Crazy 4 Percy Jackson discussion

Liv walked up to the pine tree that stood at the entrance of Camp Half-Blood. "Home at last!" she whispered sighing contentedly. She ran past the tree and into the camp. She was so happy to be back after enduring a long, miserable year at her all-girls boarding school.

Claire was walking back to her cabin after practicing swordplay all day long. On her way, she noticed Liv running towards her cabin. "Liv?" she asked, hoping it was her. "Liv, is that you?"

Liv heard her name. She looked around and saw Claire smiling and waving at her. Liv smiled. Claire was one of her closest friends.
"Hey Claire!" Liv ran over to Claire and hugged her.

Claire hugged back. She stepped back to see the full version of Liv. "Dang," she exclaimed. "You don't look any different! So, umm...you ok? No monsters hunting you down?" she didn't wait for an answer. "What am I thinking?! Obviously not! she paused for a split second. "Gods, I'm glad you're okay!!!"

"Yeah, I'm totally fine!" Liv replied, "What about you? How are you doing?"

"Great! Fine! Totally fine!"

"Good, so how's camp been?"

"Fine. Kind of boring." she said with a sigh. "It's really hard for me to find another best friend." She smiled.

"That's okay, I'm here now!" Liv said. "So are there any new half-bloods at camp?" Liv inquired.

"Not that I know of," she said looking at the Hermes cabin. "But you should get to your cabin. Everyone's waiting for you." She smiled.

"Oh my gods, I almost forgot!" Liv said. She gathered up her stuff and ran to the Aphrodite cabin. When she arrived, she was greeted by all her half-brothers and sisters.
"Hey Liv!" "How was the school year?" "Good to see you!"
"Hi everybody!" Liv said grinning, "Oh my gods! Tiffany, your hair looks amazing!"
Liv stared at Tiffany's hair admiring the shiny brunette locks. Meanwhile...

Emma ran onto the camp grounds. She was so happy to finally be back. She ran with her lightweight duffel bag to her cabin. As soon as she got in, she plopped right down on her bed.

Liv put away all her stuff and went out to say hi to Chiron. She spotted him near the Big House.
"Chiron! Hi Chiron!" she called excitedly.
"Hello Liv," he said, "How are you doing?"
"Well, school wasn't too bad, I guess..." Liv said, "But I'm great right now. I saw Claire."

Claire ran into her cabin. "Ughhh." she moaned. She sat down on her bed. "I'm so tired. I've been practicing all day." she said speaking to herself.

"So Chiron, how have things been at camp? Any new campers?" Liv asked.
"A few, we get new campers every year," Chiron answered.
"Okay, well, I've gotta go. I'll see you later Chiron," Liv said. She walked back to her cabin.

Claire lay motionless on her bed. "Oh my gods," she said sitting up. "Emma was supposed to come back to camp today! I can't believe I forgot! She might be back already!" Claire ran outside, ran into the Athena cabin, and there she saw Emma lying on her bunk. "Emma, you're back! Yay!" she said, jumping around.

Emma jumped off her bunk.
"Hey Claire!" she said and gave her a hug.

"Wow, you're a lot taller! I wish I would grow an inch or two." she said smiling. "Oh, and Liv's already back, if you didn't know. If you wanted to say hi, I think she's talking to Chiron."

Right then, Liv peeked into the Athena cabin and spotted Claire and Emma.
"Emma!" Liv squealed running over to Emma and hugging her.
"Oh, it's great to see you and to be all together at camp!" Liv said smiling.

"Yeah, she's back, and looking better than ever!!!" squealed Claire. "The greatest trio in the world has reunited!" Claire laughed hysterically. "OMG, I just sounded so stupid!" she said, just noticing how loud she laughed over something so dumb.

Liv giggled. "I'm just so happy to all be together!"
she said. Suddenly she turned serious.
"I wonder if there will be any quests this summer," she said looking anxious.

"Oh yeah," Claire looked down saying that. "Well, let's hope if there's one that we'll all be chosen to go together."

Liv looked even more anxious.
"Yeah, let's just hope there won't be any quests," she said nervously.

"Why?" Claire asked staring at Liv. "I mean, I've always wanted to go on one. They seem really fun, even though their always for very serious reasons." Claire spoke quickly, as if she didn't want anyone to understand.

"Yeah, well, I just don't want anyone to get hurt..."

"I just hope that if there aren't any quests, SOMETHING exciting will happen," Emma said.

Liv nodded her head in agreement.
"So, Emma, how are you? How did school go? Well, I'm sure school wasn't your biggest problem, but anyway how's it going?" Liv asked.

"I'm good, school was awesome. I got placed into advanced science and it's so much fun. How was your school year?" she inquired.

"Oh, well, boring actually," Liv said sullenly. She brightened, "At least there's boys here at camp! It gets boring always being around girls. And with my schoolwork, I think I had a pretty good year."

"I hate having guys at my school. It distracts me too much. Now at camp, that's a different story."

Liv laughed, but then turned serious.
"Emma, if there was a quest, what do you think it would be for?"

Emma thought for a moment.
"That's a very good question. A very good question that I can't answer."

"Well, I wonder if there was one, we'd really be chosen to go on it," Liv said.

"Yeah," Claire looked longingly at the floor. "They would totally choose us because we're too brave, clever, tough, and very important, good-looking for them not to choose us." Claire smiled at her best friends.

Liv laughed, "Whatever, Claire..."
She thought for a moment. "Chiron told me there was
a couple of new campers. Wanna go see for ourselves?"

"Uh, yeah! I love meeting new campers! Especially kids younger than us. But their usually not very young at all, so I'll just dream on." Claire said.

"Okay, let's go!" We headed over to the Hermes cabin.

"Wow," Claire gasped walking in. "I've never seen him before! Or him! Oh my gods, DEFINITELY not her!

"Calm down, Claire, you're so dramatic!" Liv teased.

"Hey, he's kind of cute," Claire said, pointing to a specific camper.

"Who?" Liv asked, "The one with dark hair or the one with the weird shirt?"

"Oooh, both of them," Claire replied, giggling.

Liv laughed. "Well, go on then, say "hi" to them."
She gently pushed Claire forward.

"Gosh, Liv! You're so......pushy." Claire looked around. "I'm not gonna say hi."

"Fine! I will," Liv said. She walked over to the boy with dark hair. He looked at her.
"Hi, you must be new. What's your name?" she said batting her long, dark eyelashes.
"Trent," he said shyly. He looked about the same age as Liv.

"OMG," Claire exclaimed to Emma. "He's checking her out!" Claire smiled the biggest smile known to man kind.

"So, is this your first day at camp? Or have you already been here for a few days?" Liv asked Trent.
"Um... I got here yesterday," he said looking uncomfortable.
"Oh, well, it's nice meeting you!" Liv said. As she walked back to Claire and Emma, she turned around and winked flirtatiously at Trent.

"Wow," Claire said in awe. "I can't believe you did something that I was to shy to do! I'm so outgoing, and you're just.......shy."

"Only, if it's girls... Since I'm never around boys..." Liv replied, "Well, you know how I am when I'm actually around boys."

"If a boy actually talks to you, they just turned down Flirty Street. That kid, or umm what was his name, Trent?" Liv nodded. "Trent looked kind of shy, if you know what I mean. He must've been uncomfortable, you know?"
