No, but only because Chosen is in the third person, so the protagonist doesn't speak to the reader in the same way. Sam's sarcasm was priceless.

My library has it as a fee e book. I was thinking about re-reading it... You should check to see if your library does e books.
A lot of people don't go to the library. Everything I've read in the past two years with only two exceptions was checked out from the library.
If your library card still works, I'd recommend at least checking your library's website. You might be able to download books without ever having to leave your home.
