Hi there

I've been going through the threads here and just want to double-check that I fully understand this whole book cover changing process. Do I need to create a new addition of the book as though I am manually creating a new book? And then do I post here asking for a librarian to merge the two listings so that I can set the new addition as the default?

If all you want to do is change the cover, there's no need to create new edition. A librarian can delete the old cover and then upload new one.

Creating a new edition is needed for alternate cover version.

If a book has been published, and this book has been, an alternate cover edition is ALWAYS required.

Julia, as the author, you have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default, which will come up in searches by title and show on your author profile. Here's how: http://www.goodreads.com/help/show/31...
