Ok, so the tunneling thing really freaks me out. It seems that we have two different types of aliens running around, one in pursuit of the other. What is that alien made out of? With that arm that got stuck on Rhodes with the claws and everything?
I'm guessing that the second alien "stinger" is trying to simulate our bodies, while "dolfin" just borrowed Stevie's, in a sense. Of course, I'm only on chapter 34-35, so if stinger shows up as another human missing an arm in the next chapter, just forget I came up with this theory!!
And what is that nasty grey smooge all over everything? I'm picturing some kind of combo between Alien and The Thing.
