"....highest ranked ones are “Fire and Hemlock” by Diana Wynne Jones, “Ready Player One” by Ernest Cline, “Poison Study” by Maria V. Snyder, “Heir Apparent” by Vivian Vande Velde, “Jane Eyre” by Charlotte Bronte, “Ella Enchanted” by Gail Carson Levine, and “White Oleander” by Janet FitchI"Lovely. I will check out if these books are available at our itty bitty library. As well as books by Nenia :-)
I have read White Oleander and now reading Jane Eyre. Really enjoying these books. :-). Blows my mind thinking Jane Eyre was written 160 years ago and at that time, there was no electricity. The dog was named "Pilot", but airplanes were not invented yet.

I had a similar reaction. Oma (grandmother) read it to me the first time and I asked her. This led to a long talk (info dump) about river boats and how they had pilots long before airplanes were invented. Oma loved to drop the knowledge on me, even when I didn’t care to know. LOL

Ah so ... Pilot is navigator. I suppose 160 years ago, not many people travelled far, hence the term will not be so familiar. Mr Rochester is a well travelled man. Another thing, how much is 20 thousand pounds worth today? Is it possible to buy a flat in London?

Hmm… At the current conversion rate, I believe that would be roughly 31798.4 USD.
In 1853, if my math is correct, £1 had the purchasing power of about $111.12 USD today. *whistles in surprise*

As to whether that would currently be enough for a flat in London, I haven’t the foggiest. ;)
I'm still shocked by this, Nenia. By the gods, what next?

^This?
They took one of my quotes from Twitter and stuck me next to an author going, "Bravo, Goodreads!"

Oh wow.... that's just painfully awkward...
Here are two great articles summing up the Goodreads Fiasco -
And there is a Nenia cameo in each of them. :D

I wonder if all the attention on GR’s craptacular policy change will boost your popularity?
I'm not sure. That would be a sad way to get popularity, but of course, I love any and all new readers I get regardless of the circumstances. :)
That would be a yucky way to gain readers, but it’d be a great sucker punch to the pendejos
who wrote up the new policy. ;)
who wrote up the new policy. ;)
Yes, it would boost site traffic as well, but would it be traffic they wanted? Chances are good that there’d be at least a few more STGRB supporters come into the fold. Would they want more people who would speak out like that or would they rather have sheeple?
Maybe I’m over-thinking the whole thing, I do that when I have no caffeine in me. :)

LOL. I'm not sure I'd want a flock of STGRB supporters as fans. But I suppose beggar authors can't be choosers.
Truth there. :o)
Congrats on making the list of most-read for this week, by the way. :)

Nice interview!
Can I just say I’m amazed by how young you are? You’re my little sister’s age and already have several published works out. I feel like a total slacker. LOL

Hahahaha. I'm not so young. My parents seem to be under the impression that I should be a CEO or something. My dual status as indie-publisher/stocking associate does not impress them in the slightest. LOL
I'm lax on my writing of a review for "Armed & Dangerous)! Mea culpa! *Kowtows*
Here is an interview I did a little while ago that just got posted today!
