I think Miss Moore is one of the best picture book biographies I've read this year. Of course, it helps that I'm a school librarian named Miss Moore. However, my adult bookclub had many of the Goodreads monthly nominees to choose from and picked Unicorn as their favorite. Every single attendee guffawed at some point and read their favorite page out loud.
Hank Finds an Egg is exceptional. Love that the creator handmade everything she photographs. Unicorn Think He's Pretty Great was fun, but I don't see it as Caldecott-worthy. I've heard wonderful things about Journey and can't wait to get my hands on it! Sounds like something I'd adore.
I thought Journey and Hank Finds an Egg were absolutely phenomenal. This has been a great year for wordless picture books, when you add to this mix Flora and the Flamingo and Mr. Wuffles!, both of which are also phenomenal.
