Right outside the castle of Hogwarts are the sturdy marble steps running down from the stunning double doors and looking out to the green grounds and the glittering lake, a wide balustrade runs along both sides of it and more times then can be counted students rest on the stone whether cool or warm outside of classes or simply in relaxation.

Lydia blushed until her entire face was a fuchsia pink "Oh-well, well, what can I say?" she cried with a small smile and felt incredibly light for some reason "Oh," she smiled uncontrollably and sat on the steps, hugging her knees as she looked out to the forest and the glimmering lake, "Salem was so different." she wondered for some reason surprised and looked up to Geoffrey "Well aren't you going to sit?"she asked smiling.

Geoffrey sat next to her smiling, "the general population of my school was females but it was no different here." He said looking towards the slowly darkening sky. "Although I guess I'm liking it here better."

Lydia smiled softly and joined him in watching the sunset, they sat in silence for a few moments until she spoke again "I guessed that Beauxbatons would have been a good place for you but it seems you, didn't like it?" she asked puzzled and stretched one leg out onto the next marble step.

Geoffrey laughed lightly making his hair fall on his face a bit. He run his fingers through his hair and focused on her eyes. "no I like it there.it's just that here, I met you." And at that moment he transfigured a stone to a crystal rose. He gave it to her and I grinned sheepishly.

Lydia couldn't stop yet another smile from gracing her face "Aw." she could only manage and giggled innocuously "You're quite the charmer Frey." she said lightly and then with her left hand took the crystal rose cradling it gently in her hand, sixth finger clear for all for the first time in months, she had forgotten.

"I don't transfigure anything for any one." He said sighing.

Lydia raised a eyebrow "Now how is that?" she asked leaning back onto the stone looking it Frey quizzically her delicate but tough hands fingering the the crystalline rose gently.

Geoffrey looked at her, "I don't usually go about giving crystal roses to anyone. They are one of the hardest to make." He said matter of fact, "and I only give those to a very attractive girl."

Lydia put a hand on the stone and looked up to Geoffrey's face "I can't say how honored I feel Frey," she admitted blushing fiercely "I-" she shook her head and lowered it bashfully blushing "Thank you." she said softly and returned "And you are a very handsome boy."

Geoffrey smiled at her stretching his leg and leaning on the next step above him. "Thank you, I'm used to complements like that because I would usually model wizard apparel in France. Muggles call it modeling. "

Lydia's eyes widened "Whoa, I always connected modelling with skinny airheaded Muggles but you don't seem like that at all." she laughed "Least of all the Muggle difference!" she said with a smile and brushed back her hair from her forehead.

"Tell me about it. My mother forced me to wear one of her designs last year. Most of her designs are dress robes and hats wizards use. " he said smiling casually.

Lydia snickered "That must be one tripper of a mum," she commented with a smile, by now another couple was out on the grounds by the lake and Lydia turned back to Geoffrey "If you don't mind me asking why did you leave Beauxbatons?" she asked softly.

Geoffrey sighed and looked forlornly at a distance, "my father is the one who insisted to transfer me. He wanted me to get to know my only cousin Amy. His sister was a squib and got out of the wizardgmg world as soon as Amy was born to live a muggle life." He said it p

Lydia's face fell and she put a hand on Frey's shoulder "I'm sorry," she said softly "What is Amethyst like?" she asked quietly and amended "I hope you two get along."

"I really don't know much about her, we just met earlier this evening. She's with her boyfriend." He sneaked. "I could say that she is a nice girl." He looked at Lydia and smiled, "you're lucky to have a sibling even if she's half. My parents only had me to play with and amuse themselves with." He grinned.

Grinning back Lydia said "Brielle's a nice cousin too have. I'm glad that Amy is nice," she laughed shakily "Why you would certainly deserve it." she paused for once being blunt "That sounds like flattery but it isn't." she said quietly suddenly knowing that Geoffrey's face was close to hers.

Geoffrey blushed as he looked into her eyes. "You wouldn't know the horrors I've been to with my mother's constant nagging about me pausing in one of her fashion shows the minister would attend." He said easing back. He scolded himself not to act like a fool and make her awkward. you are a gentleman!and gentlemen wouldn't kiss a girl with out her permission!

Lydia had sat back as well bemused at the expression in his eyes, she wouldn't kiss him who did she think she was? but a slight thought at the back of mind-she broke off that thought blushing pink "Oh. That sounds awkward." she said with a slightly forced laugh.

He chuckled gently, "tell me about it! If it wasn't O.W.Ls exams which saved me from the event I would have been posted on wizarding fashion magazines." He run his hand on his brown hair fixing the loose strands.

Lydia made a face "If I had a choice between being a wizard model and preparing for O.W.L.S I'd have to think about it," she laughed "you know which I would pick though." she shivered in the chill air of the evening marveling at the now-set sun illuminating the forest in a backlit gold pink shooting up to the highest boughs, the scent of cedar drifted through the air on the cold breeze and Lydia hugged her knees for warmth. It was beautiful.

Geoffrey looked at the marvel of the sunset. He looked at the lake now glowing with hoards of glowing lights. Watching it from afar as it sweap to and fro of the lake's surface made him smile."I picked my exams and passed it on ranked seventh. And after that joined the fall fashion show which wasn't so bad at all."

Lydia nodded "There are actually no O.W.L.S in Salem but I had to take them coming here." she recounted and winced grinning "I hardly did as goo let me say that Frey." she followed his gaze to the lamp-lit lake "Isn't it beautiful?" she asked rhetorically in a soft voice, glad to see the sunset and glad of the boy sitting next to her.

"Well, you are here and that's what matters." He said look at the lake still. He gave a smile and nodded towards the
dancing lights on the lake's surface, "I would call that romantic while sitting here beside you Lydia. "

Lydia smiled "So would I. Or I would call it perfect," she said suddenly and colored a little what had made her say that? honest feeling she realized, honest feeling.
The magicked lamps danced light onto the lake and Lydia's smile grew, yes it was romantic in the best way. Of happiness.

Geoffrey smiled as he observed her, looking at her from the side of his lids he couldn't believe that she is even giving him time. Her blonde hair cascading on her shoulders being shadowed by the slowly darkening sky. He build up the courage to ask her that one question he'd be determined to say. He inhaled and closed his eyes as he decided to ask her. "Lydia would you be Okay if I court you?" He finally asked them a series of nervous mumbling followed. "I mean I have to ask your mother first which I assure you I would personally if I can." He then blushed like a ripe tomato in a bright summer day.

Lydia looked up her light green eyes widening, she gestured a she spoke "Courting as in-courting?" she said blushing "Oh, I couldn't say no Frey! I'm...honored" she said in heartfelt words and smiled a little at his embarrassment then remembered when she blushed-ah she still had a little way to go in civility at least "And I think Mummy would like you even." she reassured him the twilight shadows somehow avoiding her face which warmed in the cool sun of eventide, she smiled at Geoffrey warmly and closed her eyes letting the sun warm her face, or it could have been her blushing. Either way.

Geoffrey was ecstatic. It wasn't the first time he courted a girl. He had his fair share of growling fathers and snobbish mothers. But he is sure about Lydia. He is a firm believer of following his heart when it comes to a girl. "I'd like to ask for her exact address so I can write her tonight." He said holding her hand softly. "Of course her permission would be the only thing stopping from sweeping you off your feet right now."

She grinned "Glad to hear but mummy get's the last word," she stood her long robes swishing by her feet and smiled at Geoffrey "Thanks for asking me." she said softly still holding his hand "The address is 4578 Hifflton Av. Hogsmeade, yes, she lives right in Hogsmade." she finished with a nod to his raised eyebrows.

Geoffrey scratch the back of his head and smiled. "Yes of course. I might even visit her there." He said kneeling and planting a kiss on top of her hand. "And thank you for accepting my courtship." looking up to her made his heart swell with gladness. She was so beautiful.

Jake was sitting on the steps thinking.

Andi was about to go down the steps when she slipped, and luckily fell back instead of forward. She groaned and sat up.
