I've only heard good things about it! I, unfortunately, haven't had a chance to read it. I'd love to here.
I love fiction-wise James Forrester's 'Sacred Treason' trilogy, or non-fiction-wise Leanda de Lisle's 'The Sisters Who Would Be Queen'.
Currently reading the Sacred Treason trilogy. I think the Shardlake series is the best I have come across though. Would like to read the Alison Weir non fiction book about Ann Boleyn' s arrest and trial.
I've read Alison Weir's fiction novels and love them. I would like to tackle her non fiction again. And maybe some older titles from someone like Jean Plaidy.
I LOVE Alison Weir! I am happy to read anything by her. I'd really love to see 'The Lady in the Tower: The Fall of Anne Boleyn' make it on our list.
It would be great to see The Life and Death of Anne Boleyn by Eric Ives on here. I have not yet got round to reading that one but have heard it is very good.
Catherine of Aragon: The Spanish Queen of Henry VIII by Giles Tremlett has had some good reviews and I would like to see what this group thinks of it.The First Queen of England: The Myth of "Bloody Mary" or Mary Tudor: The First Queen (which are the same book under different titles, I think) by Linda Porter might also be an interesting one to discuss.
I am happy to read and discuss any fictional books set in the Tudor era that the group chooses, but I prefer those that don't play too fast and loose with the historical record.

Those are two really good biographies. Linda Porter also wrote one about Katherine Parr, but I haven't got round to reading that one yet.
There's also a book I've heard about called The Queen's Confidante by Karen Harper which follows the death of Prince Arthur as Elizabeth of York asks for assistance in finding the truth behind her son's death. It sounds interesting.
Thanks Lynsay.I have bought the Giles Tremlett one, but have not read it yet. I saw Linda Porter's in my local library, but I already had too many books to read at the time.

That's usually my problem, there are so many books in a reading list that you can't make room even if you want to :)
To all Tudor book lovers in the UK with a kindle:Wolf Hall is one of the deals of the day.

However, I'd like to get a running list of other books you'd like to see us cover at some point. Let the suggestions begin!
I'd like to add C.J. Sansom's 'Dissolution.' It is a Tudor murder mystery, and something fun I think a lot of people here would enjoy!
