Dirty Red
question
Do I have to read this one or can I skip it?

I want to read this series but this book doesn't look like something that would interest me. If I read the first one and then jump to the third book, will I be completely confused or will it work out?

Agree Read it, it adds to the story line...what a great little series, so glad I stumbled onto it.. didn't want it to end
Nah don't skip the book, but what I did do was skipped pages here and there.
Read it! I was dreading reading about Leah too, but you need this book for the story to be complete.
Must read!!!! Don't even think about reading the third without this one. A great read too!!!
i would have loved to skip this book because i hate leah so bad but the third just wouldnt be right without this. its not the same effect/anger/satisfaction/ or pain. read it!!
Read it! It was superbly written! I loved it and was surprised by how much because when I realized it was from Leah's POV, I dreaded it. Total surprise.

You must read it! In my opinion it's better than the first, and the last is awesome! Great trilogy.

Dont skip. there are some revelations you wouldn'r want to miss
I am a huge fan of this books series so I would say, having read them all, why would you want to skip it! If you are taking the step to read them at all you need to read all three!! It just builds the story more and the makes you want to hate the red head more!!
Do not skip this book! I hate Leah. With that being said, Tarryn's writing is flawless and, even though you hate Leah, you will appreciate the book and writing. I even felt sorry for Leah...but that was short lived. There are things revealed in this book that will confuse you if you jump straight to Thief.
read it. it's just a short book anyway. and you'll hate Leah less. about 10-30% less.
Read it if you skip you will be lost when you read Theif. Alot of stuff happens in Dirty Red. I thought this one was better than The Opportunist.
You should definitely read this.. It's not cliche and you will learn some secrets in this story.
I agree you need to read this one. Even though I hated Leah I really enjoyed this book and it will help make more sense of things that happened and what will happen in Thief.
No. You should not skip. Although it's Leah's book, there are also Olivia and Caleb-related revelations.

You can do that, sure. If later, you feel like you want to know what goes on inside Leah's head, then you can read book 2 (it's pretty short if you ask me). Trust me, I've dissected this series so much. I know it through and through. You'll still get your answers.

You will be confused if you don't read it. I was also hesitant to read it at first, I mean who would want to get inside the mind of the villian? However, the author remarkably made enjoy this book thoroughly. Plus, you'll learn a thing or not from the book.
READ IT! I think you'll be confused if you don't read this and read the next cause Dirty Red continues from The Opportunist and Theif continues from Dirty Red.
Definitely read it or you'll miss some stuff.

This series is excellent. Don't skip this one. You will be pleasantly surprised.
You need to read it. It was actually really good and gives you a lot of insight about Leah
u wont get totally confused, a little bit maybe . but the second book was a bore , because no matter how much i tried i could not connect leah...so SKIP IT
DO NOT SKIP THIS BOOK!!!! If you do you will miss a huge aspect of the whole series.
