Do you have any reading habits that you are admittedly guilty of that are beyond annoying? Or perhaps a few habits that make reading-time a bit more fun or you just can’t help but insist on repeating?

A couple of my habits are due to my ADD/ADHD. I read quickly-- which is a bonus-- but unfortunately, that also means I tend to jump books a lot. It’s not that the book I am currently reading bores me, but my mind will begin to wander as I am daydreaming the scenes I read. I get to the end of a chapter and find myself wanting to delve into another world.

When I jump from book to book, it’s usually of a separate genre, to give myself a variety of worlds I can jump into when I need a change of pace.

I can keep up well and remember exactly where I left off in the other book(s), but sometimes I find myself currently reading 8-10 books; particularly when a book has lost my interest (Doesn’t happen often)

Sounds cuckoo, I know. Or does it? *inquisitive glare*

That's just one of my habits.

Another old-time habit of mine which I have been doing since I was younger, is keeping track of my thoughts of a book in what I call a reading journal. I would write down how certain scenes made me feel, or I would speak of an emotional scene and how it affected me, or just rant and rave about the entirety. I guess that's why I love doing reviews so much to this day, lol.
