Let's talk about the Fifth and Final book in the LUX Series, Opposition. What do you think will happen?

I don't think Bethany is the only pregnant hybrid. I think Katy is too and them being pregnant is what's gonna make daemon, Dawson and Dee stay on the Team Human/hybrid/origin/lux side instead if side with the "bad" luxen. I also think that hunter and Serena will show up again and hunter will side with them!

hmmm.... what makes you think Katy is pregnant?

Because Everytime Katy and Daemon have had sex in Opal and the first time in Origin the use of condoms have been mentioned. But after the first time in origin it's no longer mentioned.

well honestly i dont know , i dont know what or how to imagine things will end up on the last book , its difficult , its the origin together with the hybrids and maybe some of the luxens (good ones) vs the evil luxens vs. daedalus .. it will be a complete chaos , hahah.. OMG !

Haha yeah and maybe even some Arum (hunter!)

yah yah yah i forgot about them , i've only read the lux series , so i still dont know the stories about arum , maybe soon =))

Ohh... I am still halfway through Origin, in the scene where Katy and Daemon meet Micah The Origin... Is Bethany PREGNANT? With Dawson's child? And Hunter and Serena come in Origin? (I am halfway through Obsession, where Hunter and Serena decide to leave Hunters house and escape...)
OMFG! I cant wait for Dawson and Bethany's child!
Also, I don't think Katy is pregnant, it just doesn't seem to be right, somehow?
I seriously CANNOT wait, there are so many series' finales releasing next year! Like:

okkkkkkkkkkkk i don't give anything about what will happens to others i just want deamon to put this stupid organization on fire....and i want deamon to take katy with him and want to have happy ending ...cause after the very sad ending of divergent i want that this will end happily...or i will left sad and heartbroken again...... :P

VERY SAD ENDING OF DIVERGENT? ugh, that's it..i'm really not gonna read allegiant now. haha. :P anyways......

yeppp its ending is very sad i literally cried for 1 week after reading it....so i want happy ending of lux series.....

I trust Jennifer to give us a happy ending don't you. She did in her covenant series.

That's depressing. I will probably not read Allegiant for sure now, I can't handle sad endings. Boo!

i cannot wait for this book!! theres no way i can wait for like 8 more months.

oh gosh. i just hope theres gonna be a happy ending. i could not cope with a sad ending. theres already too many ppl that died. btw why had the thompson triplets to die? i already cried like a baby when adam died and then andrew and ash. that was too much :(
i just want them all to live happily ever after.
and oh i cannot wait for the origin baby.

This is what I heard that Jennifer said about Opposition:
"DB" was left behind in Vegas in Origin. But he may make an appearance again.
- Archer and Dee are together in Opposition.
- Blake is really dead.
- What would be the mix between an Origin and Luxen? A: pretty badass
- You will find out in Opposition why Daemon didn't’t reply to Katy in the end
- Katy’s mom will be back for Opposition
- *Spoiler for Opposition* The Luxen that invaded Earth, have never been around people before.
- Obsession sets up Opposition.
- Some Origins escaped during the diversion.
- Hunter and his brothers will be in Opposition.
- Daemon and Katy will NOT have a baby in Opposition. One baby is enough!
- In Opposition you will find out Luc and Paris’ connection
- In Opposition you will find out who the girl is that Luc was protecting in Opal.
- Mica will come back in Opposition
- Origins will be in the next book
- There will be a war in Opposition
- Opposition will be the longest book in the series.
- Chris (Blake’s friend) is Dead
- JLA always planned for Matthew’s betrayal
- *Spoiler* All the Origins are male, and born singles.
- You will find out whether or not Katy blogs again in Opposition

I want to read Opposition so bad it hurts. I don't know how the hell am I going to survive without my dose of Daemon Black. But then again, it gets easier once I realize you people share my pain :(

And about Opposition...

Kaylyn has pretty much said everything, but I have another thing to add.
It had practically popped up in my mind while I was searching the Internet the other day in an attempt to find more spoilers or frankly ANYTHING that is related to the fifth book.
Because that ending, that nerve-wracking cliffhanger left me confused and stressed out. Like, what if Blacks join the bad Luxen army and Katy is forced vto fight against her husband while side to side with the organization that kept her locked up for four months?

That seemed wrong on so many levels.

And then I realized.
What if that special dude who gave the reddish light in the front was their father? I remember Daemon saying their parents didn't survive, but we all know some of the Luxen went on other planets and such. Maybe that is why Daemon didn't respond her.

This was just one of my many theories, but it seems to make some sense.
What do you think?

Elena! I think your theory's are amazing! I hope the Blacks don't go to the dark side though, because I love Daemon and well all of them. I can't survive without them and I would just die if they turned out to join the Luxen army.
It hurts just thinking about it.

God I hope for a happy ending and more Daemon and Katy every day :S none of my non-internet friends understand me *sigh* Opposition....192 days of pain....

That would be so nice if Daemon's parents were somehow alive... but I still wouldn't want them to go with the bad luxen...

Oh my freaking gosh yes! The teasers are killing me! I'm trying to understand what the heck is going on. I NEED Opposition now. It's coming out in a little more than 2 weeks now. But. I. Need. It. Now. I'm so impatient...

I'm not emotionally ready to see Daemon turn into a jerk again...poor Katy :'(

I'm not emotionally ready to part with this series or these characters. I'm not emotionally ready to have them be separated again, especially by some stupid new luxen. But I am most especially not emotionally ready for the next 20 days or whatever of anticipation !!!

I don't think I'd survive the wait if this weren't the last book and happened to end on another terrible cliffhanger. Does anybody know how long this book is??

Amazon says 500 pgs but Shadows the prequel novella is also included in the print copy and then Goodreads says 400 so I'm going to say it's about 400 pgs!

I cannot handle this wait anylonger!! Its only 9 days away now but that is 9 days too long!! I so hope that nothing bad happens to anyone and i am definitely rooting for dee and archer to get together and for katy to re-unite with her mom! Ugh the pain of waiting!:(

I want to know what opposition means, becuase all the names of the books means something like obsidian,onyx, opal, origin,.Im also dieing for this book!!!!!

I know how you feel!!! I read the teasers from the book like everyday. I need that book!

Its like authors love to make us suffer by having to wait for the last book! I purposely booked of work just so i could read it for the whole day!!! This suspense is killing me!!!

I guess it's "Opposition" because they're possibly on opposing sides of the war...well we've seen where Daemon is from the extracts :(

I read the teasers like everyday!!!! I agree I do think dee deserves someone, and I cahnt wait to see if Bethany will deliver the baby in the book!!!

That would be torture!!! And i think i would literally cry if something happened and dee didnt get her happily ever after! I hope she does too but i think she is going have a miscarriage with everythin going on!!

I hope not Bethany already is dealing with a lot, if she has a miscarriage that would proboly break her.i also wonder about Katy's mom, I'm pretty sure the dod will come for her.

I agree with you i would not want to know about Dawson. I was thinking maybe they'll try to kill Katy's mom, just so katy will try to save her. We all know the odd want katy and daemon...but I'm most likely wrong!!!

Hm... I dont know if katy would be able to save her mom though, since she isnt a full luxen she doesnt have the power of healing

True! Well in one of the teaser it made me think that she was saving her mom but I'm proboly wrong!
